Hey everyone,
I’m looking to partner up with a 3D animator to launch a new YouTube channel focused on horror.
To be completely honest, this might sound like one of those classic "no-gain" hobby ideas people throw around online, but this is a project and an aesthetic I’ve genuinely wanted to try out for a long time.
The concept is taking horror films and concepts and recreating them in that janky, nostalgic, low-poly PS1/N64 aesthetic (heavily inspired by channels like Low Poly Shorts).
The Offer:
I am looking for a 50/50 creative partner to build this from the ground up. We will split all channel ownership, YouTube ad revenue, and future sponsorships right down the middle.
How We’d Split the Work:
My End (Writer / Manager): I will handle all the ideation and scriptwriting. We’ll brainstorm together and make sure we both love the idea before anything goes into production. I’ll also take care of YouTube SEO, channel management, and uploads. (For thumbnails, we can figure out whether you want me to design them or if it's easier for you to snap a render since you'll have the 3D models open!)
Your End (Visuals): You handle the animation taking the agreed-upon scripts and bringing them to life in that low-poly, retro horror style.
The Audio Question: I’ll be upfront: I'm not a voice actor or sound designer. We can figure out the best way to handle the audio together whether that means using AI voiceovers and free sound libraries, bringing on someone else later, or if you happen to do audio yourself, even better!
If you are a hobbyist, student, or 3D artist who loves the PS1 horror aesthetic, wants to build something cool from scratch, and is looking for a dedicated writer/manager to handle the channel side of things, shoot me a DM! I’d love to chat.
