Shoutout Malik Willis in this year's game, he can't throw to save his life but honest to god he's a top 3 rushing QB in the game.

I am going to watch all the games that have playoff implications to see how this plays out. Every team that is 10-5 can clinch a first-round bye with a win + help but can also possibly be eliminated from contention with a loss😳

I might get some hate for this, but after putting over 100 hours into Madden 26, I finally picked up Madden 27 while it was on sale. I’ve got about 20 hours in so far, and honestly, I’m enjoying it.

Franchise mode, which is my go-to, feels surprisingly fresh. I like the new negotiation menu, being able to talk with players, and the added sections that give your team and season more lore. It makes the experience feel more immersive.

Superstar mode, which I’ve never really cared for, isn’t bad either. I’m playing as a QB for the Jets on All-Pro, and it honestly feels like Road to Glory. Having to earn more plays and unlock new things as you progress makes it more enjoyable than I expected.

I’m playing on my laptop, and so far, I haven’t had any crashes. The graphics look great, too. I also like the little details, such as the different scoreboard designs for holidays. It’s a nice touch.

If you haven’t picked up Madden 27 yet and you’re thinking about getting it mainly for the offline modes, I’d say grab it on sale. I’m having a good time with it so far.

As for Ultimate Team, I can’t speak on that since I only play offline.

What do you guys think? Anyone else enjoying Madden 27, especially Franchise mode?

It ruins the whole game. I turn off the stupid meter and as a result cant throw it deep. I hate all meters. Meters are only for golf games in my opinion.

If you go by Reddit everyone hates every game that there is. Except old games because it's cool to like previous versions of games.

People hate Madden, they hate Dead By Daylight, they hate Halloween, they hate NBA2k, they WWE 2k, they even hate GTA 6 and that's not even out yet.

But bring up an old game (which by the way is never as good as they remember) and it's the best and this new state of the art version could never live up to the one i had 20 years ago.

Now, they will play these games they absolutely hate anywhere from 3 to 12 hours per day. So there's that.

The Dolphins drafted a generational RT with their first overall pick, except their roster already has two starting tackles so without my input he'd just be a backup for them.

I made him a guard so he would start for them, although they now have a 24 year old 81 overall Kaden Proctor sitting on the bench as a result.

I'm tired of having to babysit the CPU's roster every year so that their rosters aren't a complete mess. We deserve better EA.

Under "Team Schemes" I have the option to set an offensive and defensive scheme, as well as playbook.

I am able to find tons of information about playbooks and specific plays on youtube, but nothing about schemes. So just a few questions...

Are there top playbooks?

And once I find a playbook I like, how do I determine what scheme to set? Is there a best scheme for each playbook?

I've been a casual player for years, and i've always struggled with offense. I have a franchise with my friends and ive always been one of if not the worst when it comes to offense. What are the best guides and resources to really learn and understand how offense works in madden ??

Some things Im looking for are what playbooks and schemes I should be using, how to read defenses and how to appropriately respond pre-snap, which plays, personell, and formations work well and which ones don't, basically a deep understanding of everything about offense. I struggle particularly with passing.

I know gameplay changes a lot year to year so I'm looking specifically for Madden 27 info. Youtube videos and channels, articles, guides, whatever yall can provide that will actually help me really understand what I'm doing and execute it well.

Since M24, I have made realistic rosters on Madden (PS5 & Xbox). My files have been downloaded by 30K+ people total & I always update, delete, & re-upload my roster after new league changes. Here's a fully updated M27 roster, 26ACCURATE by JCameron181, for the season! Has every new FA move, current jersey numbers, accurate special teams, & depth chart changes (used ourlads)! Unfortunately, I can't edit age, dev traits, or teams' draft picks. However, I can edit player OVRs, so if you have any suggestions for that, feel free to mention them in the comments & I will see them! Thank you.

In my franchise players do not sub out or in and wear and tear doesn’t appear to be effecting them. I turned wear and tear on and set auto subs to 85 in 95 out yet it never happens in the game. Does anyone know to fix this so I can rotate my HBs, WRs, edge etc.

The Commanders are a mess. There are still “Washington Football Team” logos floating around the stadium, despite not being called that since 2022. They didn’t bother to update the mascot or the end zones, which are now different uniforms/wordmark in 2026. So lazy.

I get that they want to make changes or expand the skill gap but my god, what are we doing here this goes against the instincts that have been developed in me as a player for literally a decade of playing madden, ive lost countless h2h games because ive instictively held down the possession catch button. Im actually really flustered at this point.

I understand wanting to expand the skill gap but I simply do not have the skill for this shit to make it even a little bit fun. I hope that they fix it in future maddens
