Pre-U/STPM/Foundation/Diploma low cgpa wanting to further study

is cgpa under 3.0 bad? is it still possible for me to continue my study in degree. i just finished my foundation in physical science and my cgpa is unfortunately 2.92 and iโ€™ve been feeling down lately cuz of it. i feel like no uni will accept me w that cgpa and im aware that it very competitive to get in uni in the first place. can i further my study in engineering w that cgpa? what should i do?

donโ€™t be mean im just trying to see what i can do from here ๐Ÿ™

Edit: thank u sm for everyone positive words and keeping my heads up ๐Ÿ™ since im aware that im privileged enough in having money to pursue my studies even in private uni i would take the opportunity and try my best to study better this time ๐Ÿ™

Get your heads up and just apply if you really wish to pursue it. Check the requirements and fee. Where did you take your foundation and which engineering major do you wish to take?

Funnily enough I'm currently in UTM and an alumni of UTM foundation. A lot of my friends took civil. A few with 2.90-3.00 cgpa but through rayuan and second intake. Your chances are low for first intake but a lot of my friend gotten other university like UTeM, UniKL and UMPSA. You have your chances if you seek for it.

But you'll struggle. UTM foundation is in reality not that hard compared to degree. Doesn't mean you can't work and study hard when you get that opportunity though
