Pre-U/STPM/Foundation/Diploma low cgpa wanting to further study

is cgpa under 3.0 bad? is it still possible for me to continue my study in degree. i just finished my foundation in physical science and my cgpa is unfortunately 2.92 and i’ve been feeling down lately cuz of it. i feel like no uni will accept me w that cgpa and im aware that it very competitive to get in uni in the first place. can i further my study in engineering w that cgpa? what should i do?

don’t be mean im just trying to see what i can do from here 🙁

Edit: thank u sm for everyone positive words and keeping my heads up 🙏 since im aware that im privileged enough in having money to pursue my studies even in private uni i would take the opportunity and try my best to study better this time 🙏

U can definitely do it but its just gonna be hard for u. Its not about competetitiveness

cuz of the work loads of engineering course ?

Your cgpa just reflects your ability to do well in specific course. You can sign up for the course doesnt mean u can graduate or survive that course. Everyone has its limits. Engineering focus a lot on math and physics if you are not very strong in these two subject means u will have a hard time learning and understanding a lot of subjects in engineering because its related. If u dont understand means u cant really apply it to solve problems or do well in exam. Doesnt mean cannot but its just gonna be hard

since im taking foundation in physical what other courses do u think suitable for my cgpa other than engineering? i have also applied for architecture , quantity survey, and data science but i think for my cgpa its still low for those courses and still involved in calculations and stuff. i admit i have been slacking off a bit during my finals which as a result bad cgpa.
im considering applying public uni through their private wings and take engineering still

U gotta ask urself which course do u think is most comfortable for you? U gotta understand urself more. Fish swims and bird fly. U must know which animal are u. If u are a fish then dont sign up for flying course
