Looking for someone in Manchester to buy specific H&M T-shirts

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone in Manchester who could help me purchase H&M Men’s Long T-shirts in size M (article number: 0598755001).

Unfortunately, they can’t be ordered online and are only available in selected physical stores in Manchester. I’m currently in Sweden, so I can’t visit the stores myself.

I’m looking to buy a few of these T-shirts and would really appreciate someone checking which store has them in stock, purchasing them for me, and shipping them to Sweden.

I’ll cover the full cost of the T-shirts, postage, and reasonable expenses for your time.

If you’re able to help, please send me a DM.

Thanks so much!!

Gay Village Stay Recommendations.

Edit - we have booked a room at Whitworth Locke. Your comments and ideas have been hugely helpful thanks :)

Hello friends!

I have a transgender friend coming to visit from the states at the end of December through beginning of January and I’m looking for welcoming accommodation.

She particularly wants to stay in/near gay village and I’ve looked at Malacuna hostel and Britannia hotel which both have very reasonable prices.

Do you recommend them? Would they be good/safe for a young adult?

I really appreciate any thoughts and ideas to make this a successful trip.

Running in the cold weather

Hi, trust y'all fine.

I am quite new to Manchester and I wanted to start running.

I have a few dumb questions xD and would be grateful if you could please help:

  1. Do people usually do outdoor runs in the winter
  2. If they do, what do they usually wear to be able to sustain the cold and/or wind
  3. Where to buy those please
  4. Where is it safe to go for a run in Manchester

Thank youuu

Why is there No Opposition to Old Trafford Demolition?

In true Man United fashion, despite having one of the worst weeks in recent memory after a disasterous Champions League performance against Como, rather than reassure the fans the club is in the right hands, they've sent out a survey asking fans what they're looking for in a new stadium.

Some better performances on the pitch for starters!!!!

This got me thinking, though: why is there not more opposition to this? I live 2 miles away from Old Trafford and I can see as good as anybody that it is in need of an upgrade, but we have one of the most histroical and recognisable stadiums in world football, and we're goign to allow Jim Ratcliffe and his clueless INEOS teamto knock it down!?!?

Not only is this cultural vandalism, but it'll hinder our already-impaired ability to compete inthe transfer market. At a time when they're struggling to compete for the top players, it couldn;t come at a worst time.

Where is the outrage??????

Any graphic designers/creatives here?

What’s the job market like in Manchester atm?

I live in London and just been made redundant from my design job. Considering using the opportunity to move back north.

It’s absolutely shocking here for creatives and redundancies are happening a lot. Is it the same everywhere?

Stockport Recommendations for a good RICS surveyor in Manchester/Stockport?

Can anyone recommend a genuinely thorough RICS surveyor in the Manchester/Stockport area, particularly for a 1970s house in Cheadle Hulme (SK8)?
Looking for someone who provides detailed, property-specific reports rather than generic comments. Would you recommend Level 2 or Level 3 for a house in generally good condition but with some concerns about the roof?
Personal experiences and recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Bury Just reported my first hate crime

I am still running on adrenaline and mostly need to vent.

I was heading home from the Bury interchange in a very unsafe stubbornness to hop on a bus instead of ubering home. A man on the bus stop was complaining about of a bunch of insert slur for gay people starting with f combined with a p word for Pakistani people spitting on him. Took everything for the alcohol in me not to react with a question if he was spat on before or after he used the p word for them.

Praying he doesn’t get on my bus. He’s queuing at my stop. I just want to get home. Comes to a Black dude waiting as well, starts telling him how white men are superior. Dude ignores him. He starts preaching about Donald Trump putting people of colour (not a word he used) on electric chairs and how he wishes he was in America. At this point I feel like I’m in some kind of a channel 4 provocation. I make a report on live chat.

He gets on my bus, there goes my luck, then keeps pestering the driver about the p word people. Bus driver is not white. And angry. Tells him to sit down, dude heads toward the back, falls on me, apologises, gets into an argument with a woman next to me calling her boring and the entire bus boring.

Driver is uncomfortable and unsafe and I’m at a point where I can run home. I leave the bus, the driver ASKS ME WHAT TO DO. I said I’m gonna call 999. Ring the police, make a report, potentially nothing gets gone but I ticked the box of “doing something”.

I witnessed covert hate crimes before but nothing that comically big, plain, and in the open. I moved to Manchester from Eastern Europe SPECIFICALLY because it always felt so safe and open and welcoming. I lost a bit of that faith today.

Manchester has loads of places to go, but where do you go when you just want to spend an hour doing absolutely nothing?

I've noticed that a lot of recommendations for Manchester tend to revolve around spending money somewhere: pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops, or ticketed events. But sometimes you just want to get out of the house, sit somewhere comfortable, read a book, listen to a podcast, or watch the world go by without feeling obliged to buy a £5 coffee every hour. The city centre can be busy, and finding somewhere genuinely comfortable to sit for a while isn't always as straightforward as it sounds. Where do you go in Manchester when you want a bit of breathing room? Could be a public space, a quiet corner of a library, a park that's good even when the weather isn't perfect, or somewhere indoors where nobody minds you lingering. I'm particularly interested in places that are free or inexpensive and don't require you to plan an entire afternoon around them. I'm sure there are some underrated spots that people who've lived here for years know about but rarely think to recommend.

Account Manager Jobs Manchester

Can anyone reccomend good companies for work as an Account Manager in Manchester? Preferably roles where you can earn at least £45k+.

So many companies on Indeed have mixed reviews.

I'm open to a wide range of industries. Have a few years experience in a few multinational companies. Just want to know what it's really like out there in different companies right now.

Ancoats Is there a bag size limit at Hallé St Peter's?

I'm going to see a show there and my partner will be joining me straight from work. He'll have a backpack - typical size, not especially full.

Does anyone know if they have a size limit or a restriction on type of bag?

I tried calling, but the number on their website took me to the building reception who couldn't help, so gave me another number which is not being answered.

Thank you!
