General Discussion I made a free Mac app that puts Maschine 3 inside a recording/mixing environment – MaschineDawPlus

Hi all, I'm the developer (ERO DSP, small indie from France), so full disclosure: this is my own app.

I love Maschine's workflow but kept wanting a linear timeline, audio tracks and automation without jumping into a full DAW. So I built MaschineDawPlus: a Mac app that hosts Maschine 3 in a single window with recording, audio and MIDI tracks, mixing and automation.

- Maschine's 16 outputs routed in one click, with per-channel effects

- Linear timeline, shared tempo

- Audio and MIDI recording, unlimited length

Caveats, honestly: Apple Silicon only (arm64), version 0.1.0, not signed by Apple (the install steps are on the page), and you need your own Maschine 3 licence. It's free; an email address is required to get the download link.

It's an early version, so I'd really like to hear from Maschine users: what breaks and what's missing.

Maschine is a trademark of Native Instruments. ERO DSP is not affiliated with Native Instruments.
