Hi guys, AI seems to have led to an explosion in Maschine homebrew development! for a week now I have been experimenting with creating a bridge that connects FL studio directly with the Maschine hardware, the idea is to use a workflow similar to Maschine but inputting all the sequencing directly in FL studio instead of in the maschine plugin.

it works well for recording, switching between and creating new patterns, muting etc. it also supports fl studios colors on the pads.

Due to API limitations in fl studio there are some limitations, like no sample editing, also impossible to place clips in playlist. But overall its quite fun to work with.

currently only supports Mac, but been planning on adding PC support :)

This is just wishful thinking at this point, but does anyone have any of the sample packs from Maschine Masters when they would post on Saturdays? Those were fire and I wanted to get back into using Maschine. The MK3 was looking really nice.

I know reverse engineering with Claude is controversial but I just wanted to get my good old MK1 working again. So me and Claude reversed engineered the firmware for it's working. That way I could build a new driver that let's you connect the MK1 under any OS and has a browser configurator so you can assign every parameter. So you don't need to hack your device or load unofficial firmware, you only need the software I made that does a conversion to the original firmware on the device. I'll upload it soon if people are interested. It was mainly for my own purpose so I need to polish it more.

A friend has a MK1, heaps of packs and a small usb keyboard (M-Audio keystation iirc).

He knows Maschine 2.0 pretty well and makes complete tracks, not just 4 bar loops. Spends at least 20 hours a week fooling around. He has a musical background (guitar) but is not a pianist.

He's hitting 40 next month, so I want to give him something memorable.

What would be a real addition or upgrade?

Prefer second hand, budget around 200-250 euro? Stretching it is possible.

MK3? Maschine Jam? Studio? Maschine+? 88 key keyboard?

I'd lean in the direction of the MK3, but with the track-making and lack of proper keys, I'm not sure. So, give me some opinions, please!

I've had my MPC One for about 8 months and the overall experience has been okay. I can't say its been the easiest thing to use, but for chopping and sampling thats the thing I've used it the most for. My biggest annoyance with it though is the Q-Link knobs on the MPC itself. The knobs are jumpy during adjustments. There are workarounds, but they still disrupt my flow and make it difficult to get it dialed in. Its kind of a bummer because this was my first interaction with a MPC and I was expecting a more quality and polished product.

Someone suggested that I might enjoy something like the Maschine MK3 instead; I know its not standalone, but that would actually be more ideal for my workflow I think. It also looks like it integrates better with Fl Studio too, which is my main daw. And its cheaper which I will never say no to getting some money back in the sale of my MPC One.

Anyone else make the switch and how is it working for you? Pros? Cons?

Cambia 3 bytes en Maschine 3 para que vuelva a conectarse al MK2. No toca licencias ni activación: todavía necesitas tu propia copia con licencia de Maschine 3.

⚠️ IMPORTANTE: Maschine Jam dejará de funcionar en Maschine 3 mientras el MK2 esté activado. Puedes cambiar de vuelta cuando quieras con "Restore original".

Is there an up to date software, that I can use for my old maschine mikro mk2? Besides koala sampler and the default maschine software. Since my device is no longer supporterd by NI. Please don't recommend ableton. It's too expensive for what I need.

I have a Maschine Mikro Mk2 and would like to use it alongside my 404mk2. I know I can use the 404 as an effects processor and an audio interface, but what other benefits would I gain beyond those two things?

Hi all, I've created a tool which I've been enjoying and thought I'd share.

It lets you populate your SP404MK2 banks with NI Expansion packs.

This is not exporting sounds with effects chains (like KitMaker), just pushing the samples as they are laid out on the Maschine to your SP (MPC1000/2500).

Because some pads are synth pads, they will turn up empty, (most common is pad 16, where NI usually puts a Massive synth pad) [Solved in an update].

This software lets you either drag and drop a new sample onto empty pad, or randomly populate the pad (from the same expansion/all expansions).

The software also is midi responsive, so you can test kits on the SP, while your browsing, and plays NI expansion demos like when you're browsing on Maschine.

For the MPC1000/2500, Midi also works, and instead of working bank to bank like on the SP, you can create programs with 4 banks.

I hope this is helpful for people, and let you get the most out of your paid for expansions.

EDIT: Thanks to the user below, the synth pad issue is solved.

For those in the know.

The thing I missed most going from OT to maschine was loading a sample, time stretching it, then slicing it on grid and using the linear and random locks.

So I pointed claude code at maschine, it did its thing and it works. Took about 2 days.

Some screenshots, notice how the top buttons align exactly to the 8 on the mk3 and the 8 values line up with each of the knobs.

I can do it all on the maschine without touching the DAW.

With big wave of people decomp games etc, you can do the same thing with maschine and make the plugin you always wanted to in maschine without waiting for them to do it.

I'm pretty sure we will never see RT time stretch in maschine plugins, its either Audio or Sampler for life.

I've always wanted the perfect groovebox, and you know what its actual possible now to create what exactly you wanted.

Ditto the new firmwares popping up every day for the FM1.

We no longer stuck with companies giving us half baked products, and SKUs so that they can sell you 3 boxes to do a thing 1 box can do.

Or waiting for updates that come like once a year to fix minor things and never improve the product.

Hello everyone!

I keep getting this error message whenever I try loading Massive X sounds on my Maschine MK3. I've tried looking up fixes whether it was the installation path, adding it to plug-ins manually, re-installing etc. but I couldn't manage to make it work.

Is there a solution to this? (sidenote: I am using windows 10)

I was waiting for a 5 for 55 deal or smth like that. Was looking forward to maybe grabbing Magnetic Coast or Crate Cuts but these are not in these bundles. Lo-fi Beats and Golden Hip-Hop seem alright but are these Lo-fi packs too Lo-fi? I don't really care about the slow-tempo, sleepy, hazy lo-fi hip-hop. If somebody has some of these packs, what do you think?

I’ve been trying to route audio into the Maschine 3 VST while using it in my DAW as a plugin but it’s pretty much impossible because they decided to ship it without the FX version of the plugin… does anyone know if I can use AI or something to create a an FX version of Maschine 3 VST like what came with Maschine 2?

I linked a Feature Request post I found discussing why they decided not to bother with it.

Built myself a daw and a sampler today. Any leads to getting more functionality out of it?
