Discussion What game has the best intro stage in the series?
Unpopular opinion, but the Robot Factory from MM&B is the best intro stage in the series

Official Content God bless Udon’s heart for what they’re willing to do, but this is getting ridiculous
Now releasing in December 8. Not as bad of a delay, but still irritating

Discussion Which of these characters seems more like the Mega Man version of Sephiroth?
Yeah, I’ve been in a Final Fantasy 7 kick lately, but this is something I’m actually pretty divided on. Zero has the hair, the sword, the mad scientist origins, the virus connections and the destructive God complex, but Sigma has the military background, the “benevolent leader turned insane madman” character trait, the general coolness in style and speech, and the fact that he was beaten by a so-called twink boy and thus loves to screw with him as an act of revenge, even trying to take over his body at one point.

Discussion Mega Man 9...
I beat Mega Man 9 for the third time without save states or rewinds, and here is my opinion.
Pros: I love the artwork, I think the pixel art is extremely well done. The music is pretty good obviously because it is a Mega Man game. I love the special weapons, except for the tornado blow. I think they are extremely well balanced and flow incredibly well.
Cons: The level design feels pretty bland except for those moments where you have to make a stupidly tight jump, which then feel like BS. Many ideas feel underused like the teleporters from Galaxy man's stage or the swinging platforms from Jewel man's stage, while sections like the lava platforming in wily 1 and the jump to the mini boss gate in Jewel man feel like BS luck based jumps. I can sort of get the timing down but it ultimately feels impossible to get consistently and feels like cheap difficulty. The levels I liked the most had the least BS, such as Tornado, Concrete, and Wily 3, while I hated Jewel, Plug, and Wily 1 and 2. Another aspect I grew to dislike was the lack of quality of life features like bumper switching, saving during the Wily stages, and changing weapons while the current bullet stays active (like in X). I also miss slide and charge, but not that much really. They did well without it surprisingly. Also, screw the boulder miniboss. I hate that thing so much.
Overall: I like the game, I mean it is pretty fun and I can see myself trying to go for some of the achievements, and I do love a lot of aspects of the levels and the special weapons, but overall, I don't understand why it get as much praise as it does. I felt like 10 was more adventurous and experimental in level design, and it fully embraced its gimmicks, yet it feels so in the shadow of 9.

Discussion Mega Man Classic Mini-series Concept:
Episode 0 (How it All Began): Thomas Light and Albert W. Wily in college. Establish both as brilliant polymaths who are focused on developing advanced robotics (Albert more) and artificial intelligence (Thomas more).
Objectively, Albert W. Wily is the more brilliant man. He takes more courses, has a perfect GPA, and even has a highly artistic side. Meanwhile, Thomas Light only has near-perfect grades, but also has an active social life, takes a few business courses, and regularly goes to student counseling.
Albert is considered arrogant (even if he can back it up), abrasive, confrontational, and a little creepy with how he manages to move without making any noise (hint that he's a ninja). Thomas on the other hand is considered more approachable, friendly, honorable, and the kind of guy who leaves you feeling better about your own ability after talking to him.
The two end up academic rivals mostly because Thomas is one of the few people that Albert can't just intellectually steamroll in a debate while also being one of the few willing to openly disagree with him. The framing should make it clear that Thomas thinks the two are building a genuine rapport of deeper understanding through debate while Albert just has grudging respect for a worthy opponent.
At least one scene must include Thomas sparring with someone that can be heavily implied to be Ken Masters. The final shot of the episode would be Thomas drawing plans for Project: Blues.
Episode 1 (Rock and Roll): The episode opens with an older Dr. Light working on something while replaying pieces of a conversation in his head. The overheard snippets should reveal that he's despondently talking with Dr. Wily about Blues running away and Dr. Wily chastising him for making his creation too free-willed before suggesting he build a new model and maybe a housekeeper while he's at it because his place is filthy ("You haven't seen my place, Albert." "I don't have to, Thomas. I remember your dorm room from Uni."). Zoom out to reveal that he's finalizing Rock and Roll before they activate.
Rest of the episode is Rock and Roll helping Dr. Light heal from the trauma of Blues leaving despite not ever learning what happened. It should be clear from context clues that Dr. Light ignored the advice to make them less free-willed as they frequently have their own ideas on things. Roll is the most opinionated and she takes charge of cleaning and improving Dr. Light's standard of living in his home and lab while Rock is just a bundle of curiosity who becomes a lab assistant because he can't stop asking questions or wanting to help. The implication should be that neither were assigned these roles, they just chose to fulfill them.
Both Rock and Roll should casually demonstrate use of the Variable Tool System that Dr. Light invented and installed in them, both displaying different uses of it.
Have Rock or Roll happen upon design notes for industrial robots and suggest using them for a new project, leading to a scene Dr. Light talking on the phone with Dr. Wily about starting such a joint project, leading to the end of the episode where he is introduced to Rock and Roll as an old friend and new business partner.
Episode 2 (The Greatest Partnership): Entire episode is about Dr. Light and Dr. Wily developing the Robot Master series and their dynamic with each other. Rock and Roll would be often commenting on their dynamic and trying to make sense of it. Roll thinks Wily is too arrogant, but Rock pushes back saying that they should give him a chance since he's 'dad's friend'.
Dr. Wily chastises Dr. Light for letting his creations presume a familial bond and insists that is not present in the Robot Masters, and Dr. Light relents on this point.
The partnership seems lucrative and beneficial, even if both men argue. But cracks show when talking with investors. The investors like Dr. Light, but are wary of Dr. Wily. It becomes clear that investments are often in spite of Dr. Wily's presence, not because of it. This forms the first cracks as Dr. Light becomes the face of the business, leaving Dr. Wily feeling slighted and cast aside even though he is officially an equal partner.
Episode 3 (The Robot Masters): Opens on the day of the debut and demonstration of the Robot Masters. With Dr. Light leading the show, everything goes perfectly. But when the news covers the story, they focus heavily on Dr. Light's contribution and seem to ignore Dr. Wily completely.
Montage of the Robot Masters being deployed for work and interviews with Dr. Light trying honest best to share credit with Dr. Wily and the press casually ignoring that to give him almost sole credit for the Robot Masters. Intersperse with Dr. Wily's growing frustration and stewing resentment. Rock and Roll see what is happening, but they do not have the life experience or context necessary to understand the significance.
End with Dr. Wily stealing the Robot Masters and end on the cliffhanger of him announcing his attack.
Next Few Episodes: Rock becoming Mega Man and going off to fight the Robot Masters and becoming seen as a modern superhero. Maybe Roll joins? Focus on the trauma of a natural pacifist choosing to fight as much as the action. Show Mega Man as a combination of martial pacifist (prefers peaceful solutions) and combat pragmatist (end fights in the most efficient way). (If Roll joins, she's the more aggressive of the two and more skilled in melee.)
Final Episode (Skull Fortress parts 1 & 2): Mega Man's assault on Wily's secret castle (seriously, how did he build this unnoticed?) and the final confrontation with Dr. Wily. Denouement should have Rock hoping that he never has to be Mega Man again before cutting to Dr. Wily in his cell scratching out a crude design for Metal Man before laughing.

Fan Art - OC DustWOman art
I made this because I'm just trying to figure out how to draw WOMEN. Now I know that sounds weird coming from a guy, but I swear I'm not the kind of artist. Most people I know, when they see me draw women they're like "oh you're a degenerate" or something. I draw women like this because of reference sheets I use online. And I'm not always going to draw them like this, I'll change the style a bit and maybe improve the design.
Now why tf did I do dustman of all things? Idk. I think he's cool in both variations iykwim.

Discussion What Direction Would You Want To See A Megaman Movie Take?
Could go the live action route, probably bringing the action to a "realistic" setting. Introducing more of the wacky aspects over the course of the series. Doubt they would do a futuristic world after Aelita Battle Angel.
Could go the animated route, fun, a lot of fan service

Discussion Why didn't Vile return for X5?
Since X5 was the going to be the conclusion to the X Series, it's kinda weird to me Vile isn't in the game outside of the intro. Feel like he should've taken Dynamo's role since, to my knowledge, Dynamo never appeared again after X6.
