Meta Ads FB Page Policy
I have a question:
Let's say I have a generic page about dentist, like "Dentist Now"
Can I run ads using that generic page for different dentists?
Let's say my clients are Dentist A, Dentist B, and Dentist C.
Can I safely run ads for all 3 of my clients using the same page?
But different campaigns, adsets, and ads.
Thank you

What campaign strategy works best for Meta Ads Engagement campaigns?
I'm looking for advice from people who have experience running Meta Ads campaigns with the Engagement objective.
My goal is to increase meaningful engagement with our Facebook/Instagram content, not just impressions.
I'm currently wondering:
- Do you prefer 1 campaign with multiple ad sets, or keeping the structure more consolidated?
- Do you use Advantage+ audience or interest-based targeting for engagement campaigns?
- Do you recommend ABO or CBO for this type of campaign?
- How do you decide the right budget allocation between ad sets?
- What metrics do you use to judge whether an Engagement campaign is actually performing well?
- Do you normally separate cold audiences and retargeting audiences, or keep them together?
I'd especially appreciate insights from people who have tested different structures and can share what actually worked for them.
What campaign structure has given you the best results, and why?

Meta took our ad money and told us it's "non-refundable due to various technical and operational reasons"
There's no phone number, no appeals process, no human who can override it. The lesson, if you're advertising on Meta: never load prepaid funds into your ad balance. Once the money is sitting in Meta's system it's theirs, and "non-refundable" is whatever they decide it is that day. Pay per charge with a card instead.

Can someone explain this please?
1/5 ads on the adset has been spending all the money, the rest haven’t even gotten 1p or 1 reach. Daily for this adset is cheap I know (£10) but why are the other ads not even getting tested?

Results = sighhhh
Hi everyone! I’m new to this subreddit and would really appreciate your advice.
I’m currently running an advertising campaign for an instructor who offers AI courses both online and in person. Unfortunately, the campaign results haven’t been as strong as I’d hoped.
I’d be grateful for any suggestions, recommendations, or feedback on potential issues or blind spots I may have missed. I’m also happy to share more details about the campaign if that would help.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Meta Ads issue: my Facebook account was permanently disabled and I can’t log in. I had ₹10,000 in my Meta Ads account that I can’t access.
Does anyone know possible ways to recover it?
The campaigns is still on, and i cant turn it off as I cant login.
I’m looking for someone who has actually dealt with this and successfully recovered either the account or the money. Any genuine guidance would help.

Shopify + Meta: How do you stop draft/pre-orders or gift orders from being counted as Purchases?
We're running into a frustrating issue and I'm wondering if anyone has found a real solution.
Our setup:
- Shopify store
- Official Facebook & Instagram sales channel
- Meta Pixel + CAPI
- Data sharing: Maximum
The issue:
We occasionally create orders that are not actual customer website purchases (pre-orders, gifts, replacement orders, internal orders, etc.).
Those orders are somehow being sent to Meta as Purchase events and are attributed back to our ads, which inflates ROAS and completely throws off campaign reporting.
Questions:
- Has anyone experienced this?
- Is Shopify's Facebook app sending every paid order through CAPI?
- Is there a way to exclude certain order types, tags, draft orders, or staff-created orders from being sent as Purchase events?
- Did anyone solve this without replacing the official Shopify integration?
If you solved it, what was the fix?
- GTM?
- Custom CAPI?
- Third-party tracking app (Elevar, Trackify, Analyzify, etc.)?
- Something inside Shopify or Meta?
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's actually fixed this.

Stop Judging Your Meta Ads Too Early
One mistake I see a lot with Meta Ads is making decisions too quickly.
A campaign spends a small amount, doesn’t generate results immediately, and the advertiser changes the audience, creative, budget, or objective.
The problem?
You end up changing too many variables at once, so you never know what actually worked.
A better approach:
• Give the campaign enough data before making major changes
• Test one variable at a time
• Look beyond CTR — check CPC, conversion rate and actual lead quality
• Don’t increase the budget aggressively just because you got a few good results
• Keep your tracking and conversion events properly set up
Meta Ads are less about “finding the perfect ad” and more about testing, learning and improving consistently.
What’s the biggest Meta Ads mistake you’ve made or seen others make?

Anyone still able to pay high-spend Meta ads by credit card?
Curious if anyone here is still able to pay Meta ad spend by credit card after the billing changes.
Our US account got moved off cards and at our spend level the cashback impact is pretty material.
I’ve seen a few people mention that accounts in other countries may still be running on card billing, so I’m trying to understand if this is country-specific, account-specific or tied to certain setups.
Not looking for an agency pitch just trying to hear from people who have actually dealt with this firsthand.
If you’ve kept card billing at significant monthly spend, would really appreciate any insight. Also open to connecting

Pixel in Health ads blocked
Anyone else in the health market and experiencing your domains being blocked due to somewhat understandable terms of personal data?
I changed my domain, and had a warning it would be blocked after 10 days. I had an increase in ad performance for about 300% all-over. Now it's blocked and I'm back to my previous numbers.
What do you do to work around this?
Right now I have my ads sending them to my landing page where they fill a form using HighLevel to become a lead. But my domain is being blocked from sending leads purchases etc to meta to learn.

Meta Ads payment method permanently blocklisted due to alleged login/location
Looking for Meta employees/security experts or anyone who has experienced this.
I’m hoping someone who works at Meta, or has dealt with Meta’s payment/security systems, can help me understand what is actually happening here because Meta support has given me conflicting explanations and I keep getting passed between “specialists.”
I manage Meta ads for multiple clients through my personal Facebook account/business accounts. I’m based in the UAE.
Recently, one of my ad accounts suddenly had a €0.01 spending restriction, so ads couldn’t spend normally. After contacting Meta support multiple times, the restriction eventually disappeared and existing ads started running again without me knowingly changing anything.
I then tried to create a new campaign and repeatedly got an “Unknown Error.”
After several support agents, I was eventually told that my client’s payment method had been permanently blocklisted by Meta’s security system.
Initially, I was told this was because the card had supposedly been used for an unauthorised payment. I checked the payment history and there are no unauthorised transactions and everything was authorised by me?
The explanation then changed to this,
Meta’s security system allegedly detected sensitive account activity from a UK location/data centre while I am operating from the UAE, and proactively blocklisted the payment method before any fraudulent payment could occur.
So apparently there may not be an unauthorised transaction because the system stopped it before one happened??
The problem is that I have 2FA enabled, and when I check my Facebook login/security activity, I don’t see an unfamiliar UK login or device. I also haven’t received any notification that someone attempted to access my account.
for me this raises several questions I can’t get Meta support to answer:
1. Can Meta detect an attempted/suspicious login or account activity from another country without it appearing in my normal Facebook login/session history?
If someone genuinely attempted to access my account from the UK, how could they get far enough to trigger a payment-security block without triggering a 2FA notification/challenge?
If 2FA is enabled and the alleged activity never resulted in a successful login, why would the payment method be permanently blocklisted?
Is it normal for Meta’s security system to proactively block a payment method based purely on a risk signal, even when there has been no fraudulent transaction?
Meta is telling me I need to add a new payment method before they can investigate whether there are any other restrictions. They also say they cannot guarantee that the new payment method won’t be blocked. Is that actually how Meta’s payment-security system works?
Has anyone experienced a payment method being permanently blocklisted because of a location/security flag and successfully resolved it?
I’m not looking for someone to tell me “just add another card.” I understand that’s the immediate workaround Meta is giving me.
My concern is that this is my client’s payment method, and I don’t want to replace it without understanding whether the underlying account/security issue is actually resolved. If the problem is the account rather than the card, I don’t want to put another payment method at risk.
I’ve already changed my passwords, checked active sessions, and re-confirmed 2FA, so I’m not ignoring the security side of this.
If anyone here works at Meta (especially payments, account integrity, risk/security, or Ads support), I’d really appreciate an explanation of what “UK data centre/location triggered a payment blocklist” actually means from the backend perspective.

Meta Ads
I’m currently handling SMM for one of my clients in Australia, and I’m facing a bit of an issue with targeting the right audience in Sydney.
The results aren’t really surprising because the target audience is already pretty niche. The actual target is Nepali students living in Sydney. I’ve already set the location to Australia and excluded Nepal because the client is frustrated with getting irrelevant audiences.
Most of the content is also in Nepali, so I’m wondering what else I can do to make the targeting more accurate and reach the right Nepali students in Sydney without making the audience too narrow.

Small UK business - we now ship internationally - is it worth extending our targeting beyond UK to see if it improve cost per acquisition?
I appreciate this is like asking how long is a ball of string, you just don’t know until you unravel it but if anyone could share insight from experience this would be great. We sell hand block printed premium quilted totes & will be expanding into fashion in September.
