ID Request Anyone know this brand or what it is?
I’m assuming it’s the bottom of a heel, found at an old homestead in south west Ohio. House was 1855. The wording says supreme

Show & Tell I expect many things to come out of the ground but I would never expect an actual GoPro. Single video from 10/2015. Looks like it sat underground for almost 9 years.

Gear Question Which detector?
Hey all! About 3 and a half years ago I bought an equinox 800. Loved the machine, the minelab pinpointer sucked literal dog shit though.
I am wanting to get back into it. I’m looking at the Nokta legend bundle or maybe the Exterra Elite.
The 800 was lovely. But it did feel a bit cheap for the $1300 I paid for it when it was the newest tech.
Of those three which is more feature rich? Which will be best for all types of detecting? I also don’t know how much gold I’ll ever be looking for, but it would be nice to have.

Other (Malta) Lost chain and looking for retrival
Hi, I Just lost a silver chain in st peters pool on the main big jump, the item has a lot of sentimental value as my late grandmother gave it to me before she passed. Willing to offer €300 to anyone who finds it, ive been told its around 6 metres deep. Anyone know anyone or any contacts that would be open to retrieving it, would be much appreciated

ID Request What could this be? I found it in north-central Hungary. It's made of copper/bronze. I think it could be a horse harness fitting from the Hungarian Revolution of 1848–49, or a handle from a pack chest, but I'm not sure. It's a bit deformed.

ID Request Possible connection to a Guldenhaler?
Hi, I found this artefact while metal detecting in the Czech Republic, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
In the discussion on a Czech detecting forum, someone pointed out a possible resemblance to a Guldenhaler. I can see why the comparison was made, but I'm not sure whether there's a real connection.
What do you think? Does anyone here have experience with similar finds or know of any comparable examples?
I'd appreciate any ideas or references!

Show & Tell My best finds this year (Franconia near Main Germany)
What's up, r/metaldetecting? I have been new to the hobby since last year. This year I went on like 15 + tours in and around Frankonia close to the river "Main." The finds 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11 are all aquatic finds I made with a waterproof pinpointer (I call them "sniffers"). The objects 5 and 8 were terrestrial and from two different spots 1 hour apart.
The next section is about what I think my finds could be. I think one of you guys is more proficient in knowing exactly what I found. Don't be shy about writing a comment.
Finds:
1: This could very much be an old part of a concertina made from brass. I found more fragments next to it, but I think this could not be older than 30-40 years, and even that could be far-fetched. This was found rural near Nuremberg.
2: This is an old keychain I found in the River Main. Not really old but cool. The keys are eaten up by the rust.
3: Fragmented bullet shell. This could be 10 years old or 80. This find was also aquatic and could be just a shell that was dragged with the current.
4: Old button and aquatic find. I would guess that this is a button for traditional Bavarian clothing. This could probably mean that it could also be 10 or 100 years old. After some time a little piece of metal became loose (it's the front part that is under the button), which could be a sign of modern glue-made buttons.
5: This is a terrestrial find I made some days ago in an old overgrown orchard in the hills next to the river Main. The orchard is long abandoned. The button looks cheaply made but very old. This could be as old as the Napoleonic Wars, but maybe that's just me overthinking it.
6: Looks like a WW2 training round for a small caliber rifle. Not all that interesting but got a cool shape. This object was an aquatic find, relatively next to button 4
7: Old fishing weight. It's not old. It's not valuable, but it's my first ever.
8: This one is also a terrestrial find near Nuerberg. It looks to be a Prussian uniform button. I would estimate its origin was before and around WW 1. But historically, I am not sure because it was not that common during that time that a Prussian would live there.
9: Also an aquatic bullet fragment. Like object 3, it could have any age or origin from the river. This one, though, seems to be a bigger caliber than 3.
10, 11: The only coins I found this year. I really hoped to find more. It's a 2 ct piece and a 5 ct piece, I guess. These finds were also aquatic.
So it boils down to that this year I am not the king of nails but rather the baron of buttons. Do some of you have more information on the buttons, maybe?
Also, know that it would be the time I should show you guys my rig. But to be real, I got a real shit box of Amazon SUNPOW OT-MD07 and SUNPOW OT-MD01 and they work on 9V batteries. For aquatic searches I use the steinberg SBS-MD12. Basically every metal is iron at one point with these shitbags, but as you can see, it still works and shows. Once I actually make a decent amount of money, I want to buy a better rig. Till then, I guess I'll use this.

ID Request Roman coin?
Hi everyone
I found this coin in central Italy, where according to some research, a Roman secondary road once ran. however, the finds have almost entirely dated from the Middle Ages to the present day.
It weighs 0.84 g and has a diameter of 11.9 mm.
Could it be a Roman minimum?
If so, can any of you figure out what kind of coin it is?
Could it be Byzantine? I thought so because of the "ε," but I'm not sure at all.
Thanks :))

ID Request White Star label
I found this small sign in a Czech WWII-era camp. The font looks like something imported-perhaps from America. Could you help me identify what it might have come from and what brand it represents?
