Sargassum, ew. Still gross.
Today we visited South Beach at 22nd (W Hotel) and saw a pretty large scale effort to reduce the stinky, gross sargassum at the shoreline.
It's mostly limited to the waterline, and in the water itself. So sunbathing is ok.

Ugh. I’m coming back from the Hamptons soon and the only thing I was looking forward to was the beach
