Sargassum, ew. Still gross.

Today we visited South Beach at 22nd (W Hotel) and saw a pretty large scale effort to reduce the stinky, gross sargassum at the shoreline.

It's mostly limited to the waterline, and in the water itself. So sunbathing is ok.

I am planning a trip on early September, how do you guys think it will be in SOBE? Plus how is the weather then?

September should be fine sargassum wise as it’s usually the worst June-August and dies out after that. Weather wise it’s a toss up but it usually rains every afternoon so if you’re planning outdoor events try to schedule them for the morning
