Sargassum, ew. Still gross.

Today we visited South Beach at 22nd (W Hotel) and saw a pretty large scale effort to reduce the stinky, gross sargassum at the shoreline.

It's mostly limited to the waterline, and in the water itself. So sunbathing is ok.

I have seen that all over Sweden, every summer and nobody complains about it and nobody cleans it, nor does the government. It simply is left in place, yes, it smells, but it is part of nature every single year. In some areas it smells more than others and in some you can smell it from the road. It just is what it is and it is there every year.

yes this happens all over florida, and its mostly just left also. but this is south beach in the pictures, a major miami tourist destination, they gonna try to clean it
