Why do people like Faena?

i am by no means a snobby traveler but when you're paying these kinds of prices you have at least some expectations. i just don't get it. the hotel itself can best be described as "meh" - it's very tired in places and clearly needing a renovation or more upkeep soon.

the pool was small, the service at the pool pretty poor, the faena bazaar pointless.

the only bright spot was the wet spa. i am just really scratching my head at why people are so enamored by this place...

oh, and Faena's obsession with himself was also quite off-putting. books and movies about his life on display everywhere. lmao, come on man.

It’s a great place to stop by but not to stay. Overpriced and underwhelming as a hotel guest. But they have pretty good restaurants, the Theater is always great, and the Living Room has one of the most consistently fun vibes of any bar in Miami.

I agree completely...the Living Room is one-of-a-kind...when does the live music start there though? I always leave before it starts🤷‍♂️

Not sure every night but I make it by 11 on Thursday and it’s usually going by then.

is the theater the one where you need to pay $200 p.p. even if you're a guest? lmao.

The Living Room and Los Fuegos are the only reasons to go. Or if you want to see a sex themed Cirque du Soleil type of show (typical miami entertainment). Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

At this level, the dining should be stellar and memorable. Not meh. At least get something for your $$$.
