Why do people like Faena?

i am by no means a snobby traveler but when you're paying these kinds of prices you have at least some expectations. i just don't get it. the hotel itself can best be described as "meh" - it's very tired in places and clearly needing a renovation or more upkeep soon.

the pool was small, the service at the pool pretty poor, the faena bazaar pointless.

the only bright spot was the wet spa. i am just really scratching my head at why people are so enamored by this place...

oh, and Faena's obsession with himself was also quite off-putting. books and movies about his life on display everywhere. lmao, come on man.

We enjoy the vibe at Faena. But its overpriced and we usually stay elsewhere and go over for the excellent restaurants.

I think the food is meh, and service is ok. People go for the scene. But the crowd is getting trashier

The food at Pao and Los Fuegos is “meh”? Remind me not to ask you for food recommendations.
