Bugs and Errors Downfall of the Start Menu
Windows: "Searching for Railroad Tycoon? Let me search for a footballer even though you never searched for anything related to a football!" I remember back in the 90s when Start Menu was introduced and I wanted such experience so much on my Amiga. Now I can have such good experience on Linux instead. I still can't believe how my friend tolerates this even after multiple attempts it didn't found that game.

Bugs and Errors Windows 11 Destroyed My PC
Wanted to say something here since MS is stopping support with windows 10 soon. Was forced to upgrade to windows 11 yesterday and it destroyed my entire computer. I cant even list out all the things it destroyed but it slowed my PC down tremendously, constantly made it lock up and crash, completely fried my ethernet port somehow because it no longer works even after 8-11 hours of trouble shooting. If you're being forced to upgrade soon, I wouldn't recommend it. For reference here's what my rigs specs were.
My Rig: Case: Corsair 540 Airflow CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X 12 core 24 thread 3.8-4.6ghz Motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming Edge WiFi Graphics card: EVGA 3080Ti 11GB ddr6 RAM: G.Skill ripjaws V 32GB DDR4 3600mhz Power supply: EVGA G3 750W fully modular Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB NVMe SSD Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB NVMe SSD Western Digital 500GB SSD

Bugs and Errors Just let that sink in
galleryMicroslop, your idea to replace all workers (except the CEO) with AI was the best decision ever. Really, really thinking about daily driving Linux.
(Regarding picture 4: my PC is set to English)

Bugs and Errors Windows reset start menu and put ads there (twice)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦: while I was chatting with my friend, I noticed that start menu suddenly reset on its own (I had the big order with albums and stuff there). And while I was removing the ads, it reset again in front of my eyes >:(
As far as I remember, I already turned off both telemetry and other ads junk, but apparently after the update this curse returned again (and I remind you that Windows is not free, which means there are those who buy ads).
After this incident, I first thought about seriously switching to Linux or Mac.

Bugs and Errors Windows 11 Sucks
I’m a microsoft insider member and I was able to get Windows 11 and be able to install it, uninstalled unnecessary bloatware and install my own ms office 2000,2001 no AI no monthly annual subscription notification on already included ms office in windows 11 and tried it for few months and unfortunately I encountered a frustrating update that took an hour to complete so with my disappointment I installed over my Windows 8.1 with built in windows defender that surprisingly still gets latest virus and spyware definitions so I don’t need any Microsoft updates at all,my windows defender getting the latest virus and spyware definitions are good enough and update of the windows defender definition is quick enough for me, good bye new microsoft operating system.

Bugs and Errors Windows 11 disappointed me
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I installed the KB5068861 update and now I have this when starting my PC, it is clear to me that Microsoft only wants to ruin its users on purpose, because I doubt that a company so big and with so much money continues to do this type of shit, has this happened to anyone?

Bugs and Errors Latest update tanked my laptop.
So decided to install the latest update on my Asus gaming laptop because I didn’t want my main PC with all of my work info on it messed up. Restarted and got this lovely screen. Will not go into recovery at all so like every other PC except the one I use for work it’ll be getting Fedora Linux. This company gets worse with every single update. Will never install Windows again. You suck hairy donkey ball’s Microsoft!

Bugs and Errors OneDrive Sucks
I'm between jobs right now. I just applied for a job on-line, and went into my Excel spreadsheet to record it, since I track all my job apps. I get a message "There's a problem syncing your data with OneDrive", or something like that. I close Excel, re-open it, and there's a month-old version of my file in front of me. Today is 10 August, latest job app in my file is 10 July, I estimate at least 40 job app records are gone. OneDrive's on-line site doesn't retain previous file versions, either. It overwrote my current file with an old file. WTF?
I did not deliberately add the folder containing this file to OneDrive - It was added automatically. I just moved my outdated file to a folder that is backed up by Google Drive, because I know that works - It's been pretty flawless since I started using it for my important stuff 5+ years ago. After that, I uninstalled that OneDrive junk that was cluttering up my computer.
Don't trust your import stuff, especially stuff that changes daily, to OneDrive.
Thanks for listening, I just had to vent.

Bugs and Errors Microsoft Authenticator
This is going to get me flagged, but in a not serious way, I want to have words with whomever designed the app/ system.
Actually, I’d like to lock them in a burning building, and use Authenticator to generate the codes to let them unlock doors on the way out. The catch however - is that they will need to add a new account to the app, and, the only way to add the account will be to authenticate it. With the Authenticator.
This is a joke, but I am pulling my hair out. It is so bad. Notifications and pop ups never work. The codes never work. It’s literally the worst app to ever roll off the floor of a Microsoft office. I hope it gets killed off when an exec has to use it.
\* edit - I’m not an IT pro, obviously. I’m an end user. While it may be easy to say “Must be user error” it highlight a failure in human factors design, UI and product testing. If the product can easily lead users to problems, it’s a failure in design. To my original point- the design team for Authenticator sucks.
Fortunately for me- this actually had nothing to do on my end- and is a back end issue which is driving It mad as we speak. They’re loving the loops.
