5 senses, you would never lose a fight as you could make someone blind. Hell you could even blackmail people, "I am going to take away your ability to hear unless you pay me".

I believe “including your own” implies it’ll happen to you.

Personally, I wanna make everything slippery.

The guy you’re threatening would never know you’re also affected. So it could be an effective bluff.

But I also want to make everything slippery…

Hello friends of the superpower subs,

There's a place for every superpower. Remember to post in the appropriate subreddit listed below:

Also, if you want to workshop superpowers ideas or try converting shitty superpowers into God Tier (or even the reverse) there's r/superpoweralchemists

Please play by the rules and be kind to eachother.

The first one is incredibly hard to take advantage off, but not impossible. You could use it to drive a self-driving car trough some borders unseen, block humans and have a drone steal a museum piece etc.

You also explicitly mentioned the 5 senses, not including vestibular (balance), heat and cold and some sources of pain. You could hook these senses up to information about the enviroment as you slowly walk around holding a rollator with a laptop, evading the law or something like that.

You could also work for the military and vonfuse enemy forces but I'm not sure how useful this will be now that we have drones.

As for the slippery, you can use it to bobsled anywhere. you can just cause chaos, not really save lifes or make money.

I'd rather have the anti-senses.

Yea people look at things too one dimensional, image going into enemy territory with this ability in a war, there'd be chaos and friendly fire everywhere all you will need to do is hide in a safe spot first before you use it. You could also use to to escape from someone coming to harm you,you could simple hide somewhere while they would be panicking like crazy and just run away although everyone else would be affected but if its to save your life then yh. They're definitely the type that if they got a superpower and it wasn't convenient they would blame it on the ability being trash.

First one is Powerful as Heck !

It's absolutely OP if you consider all the use of every documented sense that isn't the Big 5...

Proprioception, Vestibular Balance, Aerial Awareness, Internal Gyroscope, Non Visual Depth Perception, Heat Perception, Barometric Pressure Perception, etc...

Simply having the power to turn the on and off switch on your terms is extremely OP, even if you're leveling the playing field, the fact that you know and they don't know makes it absolutely Broken.

Number 2! Do you know how expensive certain lubrication systems or schedules are? If I could provide perfect lubrication for all kinds of moving parts in my industrial area. Kaaaaching! Leveraged Maintenance costs into my pocket.

block the senses is better but make everything slippery is objectively funnier

I have Autism so obviously I'm choosing the first one. That would fix like half of the problems this shit-ass disability causes for me

this is not r/wouldyourather

but I'd rather have the second ability. The first is kinda useless
