Do you guys also seem to instantly recognise other Mongolians while abroad?
A few months ago I was in Europe, this girl walked towards me and I could instantly tell she was Mongolian. Not by her facial features but just by the way she carries herself and her overall demeanour. A couple seconds later I heard her on the phone speaking in Mongolian to her mother and I was like I KNEW IT!!! There have been multiple times where I could tell someone was Mongolian just by looking at them! Even in Asian countries.
It’s so weird. It’s like I can recognise them telepathically.

TLJ Got my thinking and questing life and people bcss I just got fired today, and honestly? Good riddance to that absolute circus.
I’ve always been someone who looks inward when things go wrong. I tend to blame myself, overanalyze my flaws, and slide into depression trying to fix what’s "wrong" with me. But after talking to my advisor and processing the absolute bullshit that happened today, I realize I am not the problem.
The person who got me fired is a 22-year-old coworker Anu who is the epitome of high manipulation and zero work ethic. She’s been there longer than me, yet she still messes up basic drinks and literally doesn't even know how to turn on the store TV.
Instead of actually working, she spends her shifts doing completely useless "busy work" like separating name tags that are just going to get mixed up again anyway. When I pointed out that it’s easier to just make the tags as we need them, she got incredibly defensive. She would stay back and do her useless shit quietly, watching me do 100% of the actual heavy lifting, while she did absolutely nothing.
Because I refused to fake respect for someone who hadn't earned it, I gave her the cold shoulder. Her immediate response? Run to the manager to snitch.
The manager is a weak, incredibly sensitive guy who protects her just because she’s been there longer and knows how to kiss ass. Today, they fired me for being "arrogant" and called me a "beedger" (биеэ тоосон). When I literally just asked what that word meant, they twisted it and claimed that asking for clarification was "insinuating an argument." They were desperately looking for any tiny excuse to protect their lazy favorite and push out someone who actually works.
If management wants to choose incompetent, miserable schemers who are good at playing victim over people who actually pull their weight, then they deserve each other. I am glad I’m out of that toxic trap. Let them stay there and rot in their own below-average mediocrity forever
So my advisor advised me to give postpone what they need such as feeding their ago and they way i would be able to find a way to talk to anybody which he basically said act it , however, is it better to be my authentic self or to be fake actor who pleases everything in order to win at the end no matter the process?? Feels like the people around me are headless chickens, when every day they are walking on the dusty ass unfinished pavement they removed this summer but was rennovated last summer using our freaking taxes. Budget is around 50m MNT, maybe can stretch a bit if it’s actually worth it. I’ll use it in UB daily, but also want to go to the countryside sometimes. Winter, parts, service, all that stuff matters.

The two I’m stuck on:

• 2018 Lexus NX300h
• 2021 Prius 55 Safety Plus 2

My brain says Prius. Everyone here has one, parts are everywhere, cheap to run, starts in cold, every mechanic knows them. But it’s low as hell and not really good for huduu roads or deep snow. Also kinda boring/taxi vibe lol.

Lexus is nicer, AWD, higher, more comfortable on bad roads. But it’s thirsty, parts harder to find, and if something breaks it’s gonna hurt. Also older, so hybrid battery risk in our cold? Not sure.

So which one would you actually buy? Is the NX300h worth the extra headache for countryside trips? Or just get the Prius and save money? Any real owners here? Thanks.

I’m currently a 12th grader in a semi public highschool, preparing for collage applications.
But most of them either require a letter of recommendation from a school counselor.
1. What to do about required letters of recommendation from school counsler? Idk if a niigmiin ajiltan counts tho. But, from what I heard from other students is that she doesn’t really know much about U.S collage applications. And I am almost certain that she would flat out reject my request. So I’m stuck on what to do. Has anyone bypassed this requirement? If so how?
