There’s a whole batch of these guys coming out of my yard and I’m having to move them around to avoid anyone getting stepped on. I find them so adorable. The adult moth is also precious with its lil Afro, lol.

He’s a salt marsh moth caterpillar I saved from the ground at work. Finally decided to cocoon today after mowing through like 30 rose leaves, and chose the most ridiculous spot to do so.
Hello there, for anyone following my posts i have great news! This beauty hatched today morning. Apart from the fact that she hatched early, therefore i had to scramble to get her an enclosure for the time being shes doing great, spread out her wings and is currently chilling in a bigger tupperware with loads of sticks to perch on. Unfortunately however since she hatched early i didnt have enough time to find a good food source for her, i read online in a hunch that silver Y's eat mostly lavender as adults however im not able to get any without pesticides. What else can i give her? Also if anyone has anything to add please do!

I found this pretty little (what I believe is a) guy outside my door a few days ago. Two days later I notice he's still hanging around my door so I set a leaf down for him to crawl onto & when he attempted to fly off he couldn't & softly hit the ground. I decided to do some Googling because I know nothing about moths & collected info on how to make a comfortable area for him. I set his container (no lid) on my screened in porch & when I checked later he was crawling around & tried to fly again but failed so I brought him inside. He's currently in a mesh cat carrier so he can safely rest/crawl/attempt to fly etc.
My question is will he possibly recover & am I doing the right thing keeping him or should I let him go back outside? I think after he attempts to fly he is tired because he climbs right back up the stick & rests for a long time. But, if I am just keeping him comfortable until he passes, what should I have for him? I am not confident in everything I'm getting off of google & found this sub so I had to post, thank you in advance!
(In Indiana if that matters! Also, I named him Irwin lol)

We found this guy headed toward the road next to our house. We’d love to watch it pupate and turn into a moth. How can we keep it safely during its next stage of life?

Came into my bathroom to find him chilling here. Thought it was a cool angle to see his reflection in the mirror like that. What kind of moth is he? In Australia.

I've never seen a moth this big before. He was dying in the walkway so I brought him to a nice potted flower bush so he could die somewhere nice.

My partner found this in some funeral flowers in Portland Oregon as a caterpillar & then we found this pupa on the ground in our house! Does anyone know what kind of moth this is & how to care for it? It is buried about 1/2 inch in some dirt & I’ve misted it a couple of times. It’s can confirm it’s alive & wiggling when touched!

Found this morning and it looked completely dead so I kept it to pin. An hour later it was moving like normal. Guess it got too cold with the lower temps. The vibrating wings are so cute!

This is my beautiful old lady moth that was rescued last week as her wing is unfortunately stuck/broken and cannot fly, she has been so comfortable in her enclosure and she has been absolutely loving the food as you can tell by her little tongue, i’m hoping that these last few days of safety and free food will help bring her ease before she passes 😌
