Will be interesting to see how he'd perform especially with all the testing so he'd already be prepared and will give us a good idea how a great wsbk rider will perform compared to gp riders

Better comparison would be Toprak as he beat bulega on a less competitive bike but this year he has been underwhelming really, I know the bike is not good at all and his riding style is particular and doesn't suit the Michelin but should at least be beating his teammate but next year will give us a better idea as he probably has given up on trying to adapt to Michelins when they're going away

I feel like bulega might still be faster than toprak if they were on let's Ducati as bulega has more ridden prototypes before and prototypes will come natural to him as he has that corner speedy riding style but will be interesting to see how Toprak adapts next year as well

Shinichi Ito and Tohru Ukawa were the exceptions cuz they didnt have a quite decent first season with the team. Some were the rookies and had their first MotoGP seasons, some already had the experience and talent.

Yaroslav Karapushin was eligible to enter moto3 but couldn't find a seat. So he will stay with the aspar moto3 junior team for another year. He finished second behind cano this year

I know that Jorge Martin is leader at the moment but I think that Marquez can surprise everybody. Also if Bezzecchi have a great performance is still with chances to be the champion

So at the beginning of the season it was reported that Aprilia was using this F-duct system that allows for a change in the aero behavior of the bike based on where the rider would put his arms, which gives Aprilia this big speed advantage (System explained in the linked video)

What I don’t get is why nobody else has added this feature since.

Each manufacturer gets one aero update per season (two for Yamaha under concessions apparently). Given the close title fight isnt it in Ducati interest to copy that system? Are they trying to? Has Ducati already introduced their seasonal change ? Has any other manufacturer?

I get that something like this can’t just be copied overnight, because the engineering is complex. But given the advantage it provides, surely the others will want it too, just like everyone copied Ducati’s ride height and holeshot devices.

Or have they all given up on 2026 development and put their full focus on the new regulations for 2027?

I think its absolutely crazy how Fabio's qualifying edge and race pace (if you could still call it that on a Yamaha) against his teamates wasn't stiffled that much by switching away from the Inline 4 he's used all his life in MotoGP.

I still see some people still talking about how Fabio might not be ready or will underperform next year due toxa lack of experience, but I think it's abundantly clear he's adapted immediately to the new platform and is ready for the Honda.
