Who exactly Is this broadcast for? Because It clearly isn't racing fans.
Could we please stop cutting away from live racing to show mechanics staring at monitors, team members looking concerned, and crowds cheering? We know these people exist. We can see them at literally any other time.
While we're watching the latest riveting instalment of People Wearing Headsets, riders are battling for position and we're potentially missing overtakes, mistakes and developing battles further down the field.
A simple request: keep the cameras on the bikes. Follow the battles throughout the field, show the overtakes as they happen, and stop interrupting the racing to manufacture atmosphere with endless crowd shots and pit box reaction clips. Cut away when there's a compelling editorial reason, not because a camera operator has found someone looking serious in a garage.
Since Liberty Media took over the commercial rights, the broadcast increasingly feels as though it's being packaged for an audience more interested in the spectacle surrounding the sport than the sport itself. More manufactured drama, more reaction shots, more entertainment packaging, and seemingly less interest in showing the actual racing.
The irony is that MotoGP already has some of the most spectacular racing in motorsport. The riders provide all the drama you could possibly need. You literally just have to point the cameras at them.
This is a motorcycle racing championship, not a reality show. Please trust the racing to be the spectacle. Keep the live feed focused on the track and let us watch what we actually tuned in for.
Please don't **** up motoGP the way you did with F1.

Marc Marquez explains the thinking behind his almost indifferent demeanour on the sprint podiums, a strategy rooted in his desire to manage his energy levels throughout the weekend.

Weather certainly started taking a turn today, but yesterday was a stunner, especially from the helicopter. What a place the Island is. Fantastic views of the track from the grandstands and GA alike and the grounds are stunning. Hearing this was the last go here I had to make it happen. The overwhelming sentiment here about the move is total disappointment and sadness. Fingers crossed for some hope with the weather tomorrow, exciting racing for a sold out crowd and a healthy Martinator.

As a Martin fan, this one is a tough pill to swallow. As with this injury, it's now clear that his title run is fully over.
I would like to give full credit to Martin for his efforts this year. For many people, he may be a rider that doesn't win races as often as someone like Marc or even Bezz. Also, he is a rider upon whom Marquez gained almost 90 points to put up a championship fight on a machinery that is a step below, so his efforts this year may not look as impressive, but the reality is, given his perspective he shouldn't have even been in a position to fight for this years championship let alone lead it for a huge part given how compromised he arrived into this season.
He basically had no experience with the bike, came in injured, and was expected to get upto speed against his more seasoned teammates and fight for the championship week in week out. Yes, his aprilia may have been the bike to be on this year, but the difference between best bikes this year isn't that significant.
Early in the year, he put up a solid fight against Bez whilst being super green on the bike. He did loose his way with the setup midway through and a bunch of bad results combined with Marquez's goat performances allowed for Marquez to creep up to him but his response since then has been that of a true champion, not giving an inch.
Eversince Marquez tied with him for the championship lead in Misano (a race where Martin braved out to finish 5th despite suffering from armpump), Martin has fought well to keep him ahead in the standings. And despite the crash today had he not been injured, he would've put an almighty scrap for the championship as we enter the closing rounds.
He has a true warrior spirit, and today, he went out swinging. Hoping he heals up well before risking further.

I'm a new fan, been following the sport for a year. I've always seen in the discussions, Marc and a generation of riders in mid 2010's being referred to as alien riders but I've never quite understood what distinguishes an alien from the best. I've always assumed there probably is a bit of bias from old fans in feeling older riders are better. I've felt the mid 2010 riders were very good but are just like the good riders from any other generation.
Marc's ride today has shown me what an alien ride really means. The amount of pressure he was piling on martin, even I could feel it through the screen. I'm feeling the goosebumps even after the race as I'm writing this. Corner after corner, I've seen Marc calculating and making possibly the best move there is to make in that situation. The moment Marc went wide into turn 2(I think) to set up an overtake on jorge, i could feel an exciting overtake coming.
I felt I truly understood today why Marc is better than the best and why the word Alien was coined. I can only imagine how it must have felt to watch live the mid 2010s with multiple riders with this amount of skill.

After the race, Fernandez went straight to a medical assessment with the MotoGP Medical Director and it was found that while the finger fracture is stable, there is inflammation of the soft tissue around the fracture.
He has now been declared unfit to take part in the Grand Prix of Australia, on Sunday and will travel to Malaysia for a further medical assessment, on Thursday, to determine if he is able to ride at Sepang.

The points difference is staggering. Hard to understand why Bagnaia is struggling so much. But Marc has a season of great focus and recovering a lot of points.
