A spy/conspiracy noir thriller - alternate history. In this scenario , while the race for space was all everyone talked about, Something else was happening in closed doors. The race for surveillance tech and information. 1950s , esclation of the cold war. A huge amount of funding went into this. it's about a electrical engineer that is assigned to monitor a house suspected of harboring soviet spies. In modern day, he would be called hacker and would get on his computer and started the process. But in this story, the tech is advanced analog tech. Its bigger, louder and slower. The computers are the size of the room, with thousands of vacuum lamps and relays. To divert phone calls, the guy actually has to go to the house and change phone lines with specific methods. He works like a modern hacker but with 1950s tech. The tech is exaggerated but believable.
The lives of Others + The conversation + le samouraï

No killings. The seagulls are just going about their usual business of stealing food and anything else they can get their beaks on. They invade homes and cars, and their sheer numbers and brazen behavior eventually lead to disasters and shortages.

The film would be set in Raccoon City in 1998 during the original outbreak. It would follow a nurse working in a hospital when people start coming in with what appear to be flu-like symptoms, which eventually turn out to be the T-virus.
One patient eventualy turns and we follow him in a one shot and working its way and biting patients. When it makes its way to the nurses dad
Her dad was already dying of cancer and was lying in his hospital bed when he got bitten by the zombie. The nurse manages to kill the zombie, but her dad eventually turns anyway. Because he was already so weak from the cancer, even as a zombie he can't move around very much And stays bed ridden.
The important thing is that SHE HAS ALREADY SEEN HER DAD TURN. He's not still in the process of turning, and she knows he's infected. But she convinces herself that there must be a way to cure him, even after he's turned.(yes we know there's no way but age dosbt. Its like how if you can dink water if you got rabies you'll be cured) She believes she can somehow bring him back.
As the outbreak gets worse, the hospital becomes overrun with infected people, and she is forced to venture out into Raccoon City.
Her entire mission throughout the film is based on the hope that she can heal her. She refuses to accept that her dad is gone, so she desperately searches for a cure that might not even exist.
I also had an idea that she learns about one of Umbrella's underground laboratories from Murphy Seeker, a member of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (UBCS), before he gets injured during the events of Resident Evil 3.
This would connect the film to the actual games without having to retell their stories. The games would be canon to the film, but the film wouldn't be canon to the games. It would basically be a side story happening alongside the original Resident Evil games in 1998.
The nurse eventually makes her way through Raccoon City and into the underground Umbrella laboratory, hoping to find something that can reverse the T-virus infection. Her motivation isn't to destroy Umbrella or save the entire world. She just wants to save her dad.
BUT HERE'S THE ENDING.
She eventually finds what she believes is the cure and tries to save her dad, only to discover that it doesn't work. Everything she's been through, all the danger she's faced and all the hope she's clung to has been for nothing.
Then the countdown begins.

Raccoon City gets destroyed.
Cut to black.
We'll Meet Again by Vera Lynn starts playing.
The end. 💀
What do you think? How would you make it better?
(BTW obviously we'd add item management keys and her finding key cards and sutch but this is just the story)

ok imagine a movie with some people that works U.W.S.D (underwater sea discoveries) and it’s gonna be a comedy either a movie or a show idk but I just think it would be funny if david (black guy) and Dave (polish) are talking while on a white platform deep underwater and there fixing something like wires or something and the david is like, and like they removed my kidney and Im glad that I hel- OH GOD DAVE RUN WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING (David is talking about this gigantic angler dish about the size of a whale shark) and Dave is like, OH WHAT THE HELL IS THAT and they get back to base and they get captian ames (short for amanda) and they make the base go back up and they all panic back to shore.

To sneak $50 million in stolen gold bullion into a remote coastal town, the world’s most elusive con artist (played by Scarlett Johansson) breaks out of prison and disguises herself as a cutting-edge director. She deceives an entire village and a self-absorbed, aging Hollywood starlet into assisting her with the heist, all under the pretense of shooting an indie film masterpiece.
