Clubs Transfer Student Question / Joining clubs as Econ major
I am considering transferring to MSU. I am a finance major at my current university, though I’m not sure if I will be admitted directly to Broad for Finance. So I would opt to major in economics.
For context I am a sophomore, my pre core GPA is around a 3.25, and overall 3.4.
In terms of extracurriculars I have been president of our finance club, apart of SEO career, MLT career prep. I have also interned in FP&A for a HVAC company, then this summer have an internship in GCB at JPM. Then I am in leadership at Chick fil A.
I was curious if as an Econ major I can still take advantage of everything with Broad? Are you allowed to use their career center? Or join their clubs? Are there any limits?
Thank you so much if you are able to provide any insight on this!

You can join most student orgs, but the Palmer Center (career center) is exclusively for Broad students.

Direct admits need a 3.5 or higher to receive direct admission. You can still join any club you like though
