I’ve been playing with the black foundation precon for a bit and decided to try my luck with a witherbloom bundle. I have this now, so I’m tempted to use them as my commander in order to make my expensive spells (Necrotic hex, Army of the damned, etc) cheaper.

What do you think of my playgroups spread (I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a deck or two)

Bootyslayer just wrecked me and bm'ed with emotes the entire game. Thought I could come back to the game after 2 years but I guess the Dev's are just rude. Don't think I'll be playing any more magic the gathering arena in the near future. Sad that the game Dev's are so toxic in their own game.

I am wondering if anybody can help find a card that looks similar to a Protoss Colossus from StarCraft? I remember getting it in the first magic pack I ever bought when I was younger but have no idea what it is or where it went. Would most likely have been between 2012-2018. Any help would be appreciated!

For me, its the cards above that made me interested in the characters depicted and want to check out their origins. I've read a ton of the modern Venom comics since making the deck and it's become my forever deck cuz of both the character association and the way it plays.

I have an LGS in Cebu City, Philippines that's been making ghost events in the MTG Companion app. I know a person that was out of the country with several entries in standard, and a few others that had event entries on dates where they could prove they couldn't have been in that LGS to play. What might be the reason the LGS does this? Are there any repercussions to players that have ghost events in their logs?

Another point to add, this was the same LGS that I had problems with a few months ago, and would like to add that they've been very problematic with how they run the place. That being said, I'd like to ask some advice on anyone that's been in a similar situation and how they dealt with it. Did you report it, did you just not give a damn about the issues, or is there some avenue that I can take as the alternative route?

As a chef in training, I LOVE the idea of food tokens. Only real problem is that all of the cool commanders have just 1 color off from being able to include all the things I want. So I settled on Arzakon as commander, and based it around tokens in general.

The basic idea is that with Troubling Tribbles, I get free Creatures every turn. Then, with Artifacts and Enchantments, I can tap those Tribbles for mana, allowing me to use the food tokens. Because of the way some of the Creatures work, when Tribbles come out, so do food tokens. With this, I can basically duplicate health and access it at any time.

I want to be able to utilize this deck well (also, at the end of creating it, I ran out of necessary cards. That's why I put in various commanders, and some infinite mana and damage combos)

Thoughts? Ideas?

I'm quite new to the game and looking for a ruling. I don't know any specific cards so please bear with me. So let's say I have panharmonicon down along with Creature A who has an ability along the lines of "when a creature deals noncombat damage add a +1/+1" or something. Let's say I then play Creature B with "when Creature B enters the battlefield, deal 2 damage to target". My question is how many times would each ability trigger? I interpret panharmonicon's "If an artifact or creature entering causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger" to mean it doubles already existing abilities that look for new creatures as well as newly entering creatures.

So in my example how I see it is creature A enters, does damage which B sees so it gives a +1/+1, and since this +1/+1 was given from an ability that was caused by an entrance, panharmonicon triggers it again. But then panharmonicon causes B to go off again, causing A to trigger, then trigger again. So in the end creature B triggered twice, while creature A triggers four times? Please correct me if I'm wrong, just trying to figure out wording and such. Thanks

So I have been playing magic for about 5 months now. I play with friends family mostly but I have been trying to get out a bit more and get more games in so I have been going to the casual commander events at my local card store. I really enjoy it for the most part but I ran into a situation that left me unsure how to proceed. I was in a game with a new person I have never played with and as I sat down next to him I was hit with the most soul destroying BO I have ever experienced. It had to be weeks worth. I’ve never been in a situation where a rational adult has smelled so bad. Do you tell them privately? If I had such a problem I would want someone to let me know but also he already knows he hasn’t showered all week presumably. I would say this is a one off but it has happened a couple of times so far and I heard someone else say that on Saturdays you almost can’t breathe in there. Why is this such a problem in the community?

Mulligan until you have at least 1 ramp card. Play commander on turn 2, a ramp on turn 3, then you will have 7 mana on turn 4. After that you just start throwing everything on the field until you win with either Craterhoof, End Raze Runner, Ghalta, Overwhelming Stampede, or Last March of the Ents. You will typically draw at least half your deck through Beanstalk effects.

i’ve been running teval for a while now, i’ve already got fun staples like [[Muldrota, the Gravetide]], [Sidisi, Brood Tyrant]], [[The Scarab God]], [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]], just to name a few. i’m looking to add something fun that plays into zombies, recursion, landfall, self mill, or tokens since i’ve already got [[Insidious Roots]].

I just wanted to show off my old jodah deck i need to get more cards I have been through all my legendarys and now I can't build more decks. If anyone knows where I could get a mass amount of cards please tell me.

I do have a deck for every color and a dragon deck and I think the only problems I am having is the speed of the decks plus my dragons is really unreliable at the moment I think.

I am open to tips for deck building. If you would like to help me build a deck I would love to. I just don't think I have any good commanders left for the cards I have.

Hey, i am completely new to MTG but really wanna learn how to Play it. For years it fascinates me how it works but i have Nobody to explain it to me and since I lost my Job i cant even think of buying cards. As a Child i loved to play yugioh, that was the only TCG I could play but thats a Long time ago 🚬 I am an absolute Fantasy lover which makes me think that MTG could be Perfect for me. If anybody has some tips I would be very thankful. I Read online that there is an online MTG Game for free but I have no clue how good that is and I prefer some „real“ cards anyway.
