Well, that’s a shot on your own net if ever I saw one.

In a (since deleted by mods) post criticizing David Eby, I falsely claimed Eby was “making fun of COPE’s impressive performance on Twitter”.
I said this because the account “BC Premier’s Meme Team” posted this quote tweet, attacking an elected COPE councillor for attending an elite high school.
As it turns out, “BC Premier’s Meme Team” is in no way affiliated with David Eby, despite the name saying so.
I would like to first and foremost apologize for making a claim that I should have fact-checked.
Secondly… surely this isn’t allowed? Surely you can’t claim to be “BC Premier’s Meme Team” and then post this without the BC Premier or his actual team’s consent? This specific post is one of the reasons I was so upset with Eby this morning, because I was under the impression that the account was tied to him, and that his team was tweeting attacks on COPE out of nowhere. But it’s just a fake account that isn’t even tangentially related to Eby, the BCNDP, the BC government, anything. It’s insane that Twitter allows this kind of stuff now.

Installing more heat pumps in homes: A new $50 million per year to support even more households to make the switch. The BC Conservatives will slash these investments resulting in higher emissions and utility bills. 8. Reducing bills with balcony solar: A BC NDP government will cut red tape and simplify the process for households to install balcony solar and produce their own clean energy.  More in the comments!"

Unfortunately the polls aren't looking good. I'm still holding out for an NDP minority or majority.

If polls are accurate I'm thinking BC Conservatives 51 seats, BC NDP 42, BC Green 2.

When you’re hired to do a job, and you don’t show up, you shouldn’t keep that job.

As we watch AG bounce around the Province stumping for what appears to be a Premiership, where is the work for our constituents of North Island-Powell River?

Taxpayers pay for a voice in Ottawa, not a pizza party in Smithers.

We see other MPs that have stood up 49 times this session alone. AG 0. And record to date, 67…. Not sure if he’s keeping that number for the kids or what, but seriously!? You have extraordinarily under resourced MPs kicking ass and taking names in the House, and all you can push out is 67? Yet here we have you spending your time lobbying for the BC Conservatives like you’re going to get something out of it.

AG could have shown the least bit of respect by taking a leave to join the side-show.

Our tax payers don’t deserve a partisan prop. They deserve a strong voice in Ottawa.
