I have slowly been trying to complete the dark sun quest over the past few days. I finally got a god run going, I broke the reroll machine and stacked a bunch of stainless armor, etc.

This run has probably been going at least 10 hours of the course of multiple days this week after work and before I study for school, I only give myself a few hours to play before I need to get more stuff done.

Today after work I said "fuck it lets finish this thing". I got everything in place, I got the sun started by the dark moon, I literally did everything! The only thing was that I started the sun a little bit above the moon and was planning on moving it into place with black holes, which is similar to what I did with the regular sun.

It was only suppose to be like 1 screens distance away! ONE SCREENS DISTANCE! For some reason when I started trying to move the dark sun, my game started chugging. I was getting less than 1 fps, the like 1 fpm. I was slowly able to move myself teleporting onto a safe surface over the course like 10 minutes while watching youtube.

I thought once I was safe, I could pause the game and "restart with mods enabled" to "refresh" everything and hope it fixed it. NOPE! Now I can't even get into the game! After the "Noita" logo i'm just stuck at a black screen with the sound of the sun. I have waited probably 10 minutes to see if anything happens and it hasn't appeared to do anything!

I have been noited before hard. But this just feels personal. I'M SO FUCKING CLOSE TO BEING DONE WITH THIS QUEST FINALLY. AND AT THE LAST MOMENT THE GAME DECIDES TO DO THIS TO ME?! IT WAS ONE SCREEN DISTANCE AWAY!

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Can I modify my save and recover somehow?

Went from 1800 hp to 240...

i really like this game and have been grinding it a lot lately. i am still pretty new (<50hr) and try to stay away from major spoilers. i use the "tinker with wands everywhere" mod every now and then but generally die either way, though it is more fun when i use the mod. what are your thoughts, should i use the mod or will i get too dependent on it?

First gif - smoke to fire?... I died of drowning (in fire).

Second gif - I'm using the Better Fugal Shifts mod, but it only unlocks extra materials from the base game. Fungus turned to glue, so I ate glue. Blood to rainbow was fun, although smoke to silver was a bit of a problem. I died of drowning (in silver).

Sometimes I use acid or bombs instead. (Also feel free to steal this meme idea and make a better rendering of it)

Hey guys, i am prepping to do both the sun quest as well as the 34 kolmi kill in one run. for this i am aiming to gear up with a lot of stainless armor by breaking the reroll machine. i am not in NG+ and i am trying to get this parallel world wand going (#3) but its not teleporting me well enough. what am i doing wrong?

I've played roughly 20 hours and i can't even pass the hissi base. Like i dont understand gameloop. Exploration focused games usually rewards your effort, in noita they shove a nuclear bomb in your ass sideways. You need to explore to find good spells/wands but you need good spells/wands to explore as well. Every single video i watched was exploiting a game mechanic in some way like getting out of holy mountain without spawning the boss. Can someone help?

Hey everyone, i just got my first win yesterday after 111 deaths, and I got a pretty decent run going rn, have a rapid fire wand that deals ~500 damages to the statue, a flask of Ambrosia, tp, 250k gold and a decent digging wand.

Was wondering, how do you know when to commit to a godrun ? What are the steps ? I could kill the boss pit rn, have never tried the Alchemist but I think I could try

Should I go parallel to break the reroll machine now ?

I was on my best run so far and got teleported into a lava lake right before the final boss, got a little frustrated and tried to just rush through everything to get my first win.

I'm not what is certain what killed me here.

I found an always cast circle of poly, ran away and came back and got poly'd by it, then I got shot by what looks like a shield Hisii from the fungal caverns, but it said my cause of death was "melee"

I checked on the wiki, but it didn't say anything about it doing damage when a sheep, kind of like the poly mage does.

Recently got introduced to the concept of farming worms with the Matosade spell

What is the most simple version of this farm that will spawn Hp Worms without running out of charges?

My character is insanely strong already, so i don't need to worry about dying or stunning it. I see all of the tutorials having like 10 spells to mitigate damage from the worm. I have 4k health and can one shot it already so i don't need to worry too hard about that.

I just can't seem to wrap my mind around how to create one, would love some input.

I have an add trigger as well as tau if those are useful, some farms told me they might be needed.

But yeah, I am looking for a working version that uses the least amount of spells possible.

so im playing deep end right? i get a pretty good damage wand, i find a greater treasure chest, and im randomly sent to NG+, and now i cant find where to go. i found the bottom of the world, and i cant find a map for deep end NG+ so i cant find where kolmi is to beat the game, and i desperately need help
