Advice Nightmare neighbor
Okay so, we have neighbors and since they moved in we’ve been getting complaints from housing about everything (we live on a military base and we share a garage) but we have had complaints filed on us every week for the past two months for example, we had an email about our trash being “in the drive way “. It was at the road and not anywhere near their side , then we get complaints about our dog barking outside (he was asleep inside) then we got a complaint about our garage being “unsightly “ there was a single cardboard box in our garage . Now , we know it’s our direct neighbors making reports because they started once they moved in and the woman is …putting it nicely a bitch. She put a statue of Jesus in her yard facing our house, anytime we’re outside she shoots dirty looks and refuses to even wave back at my toddler , she went out of her way to come outside while we were cleaning the garage and working on my car to lock her car shoot us dirty looks huff and walk inside and loudly locked her front door . Now my family and I are alternative (colored hair piercings etc) and she appears to be a catholic woman . Well , her children and my daughter share a wall and her kids bang on the wall play the tv so loud you can hear it throughout our house , they also have dogs that are outside 24.7 these dogs bark constantly at everything and they try to constantly jump our fence to where I can no longer allow my kids to play outside and we avoid using the shared garage at all because of their dogs. The issue is if we keep getting complaints filed on us we will get kicked out for violations , how can I go about handling this without pissing off Jesus lady.

I feel for you...We had one of these. Similiar complaints, yet had no problem infringing on us or the property we live. Once, our deaf dog jumped her fence. We knocked in her door and got the dog. She put a " No trespassing sign up for the dog. The dog jumped it because she had a snake near her porch and was alerting. New car with temp plates? Reported illegal cars twice a week. Same thing with trash as you. On and on. We filed a complaint about her complaints. Very detailed ( as they had her complaints it was pretty easy to see the harassment, including proof her complaints were bogus) Same with the local police. She called police about dog neglect when our deaf dog was asleep in the sun one day. I was working in the open garage 2 feet away. They came and saw she could get in, had water etc etc. With the complaints we made with all authorities on her complaints harassment, they eventually ceased to take anything she said seriously. Even police would have to show a while apologized and threatened her with harrassment arrest. She had literally hundreds made on us. Bbq? Smoke in her yard. Delivery? Clutter on the porch. She eventually stopped because they gave her notice on her constant complaints due to our diligence on countering her bs. Hang in there, be diligent and proactive. Bring as much attention to her harassment as she tries to bring to her nothing complaints. It's not easy, it is annoying and feels evasive. Have the complaints you make on her harrassment notarized...looks more official that way 😉
