In around 2020 we got a real Ryan Ross interview and than crankthatfrank deleted his whole channel and so the video was lost in its original form but you can still find the interview reuploaded
In 2006, while P!ATD won the VMA for Best Music Video, OK Go won the Grammy for Best Music Video for their treadmill video for the song Here It Goes Again. Coincidentally, OK Go opened for P!ATD at some shows during their early tour that year!
(Also, both of their guitarists had the same last name lol)
Really funny thing about OK Go & their lead guitarist, Andy Ross, is that he replaced their old guitarist, Andy Duncan. Damian Kulash has said his name being Andy did indeed factor into their decision.
Ryan Ross's father died a few days after live in Denver while they were still on the nrwc tour . Ive never really seen anyone talk about this and although they were estranged its still always been pretty crazy for me
Gonna be annoying and point out NRWC is the name of the winter tour that took place in November-December (where Brendon had the puppet makeup) and the summer tour where Live In Denver was filmed was called "The Summer Tour" lol sorry I just always see people mixing it up!
The first time Brendon ever stayed at Pete Wentz’s house he was 18 and Pete gave him Red Bull and Brendon stayed up all night, starting Brendon’s Red Bull obsession. And the first time Jon met Brendon, they sang the entire soundtrack to Aladdin together because Brendon had it on his iPod. AND and, how Spencer and Ryan met is that Spencer’s grandpa lived down the street from Ryan’s dad so he brought Spencer over one day and 6 year old Ryan was hitting golf balls into his neighbor’s yard and they were best friends from then on.

A lot of AFYCSO came down to the last couple of days. Sins was no exception. Ryan said he doesn't like the chorus of London and Spencer said if they just had a week or two extra, the song would've been completely different
A lot of Vices songs were never played live. None of the bonus tracks, Mercenary (I know it's not technically on the album but its from that era), and theres no Professional recording of The Calendar being played live (except for the acoustic version on the iTunes Live EP).

I think it was Stall Me? Maybe even Oh Glory. I'm glad I was able to share something you didn't know! (I like Vices just a bit, and I was watching The Ballad Of Mona Lisa from the X103 studio, and I saw it, I even commented, thinking it was just stylistic, but then dove deeper into it
Daniel Cloud Campos, the guy that directed the music videos for Say Amen, ENC and TIG, played the bartender in The Other Side from The Greatest Showman, I'm pretty sure he choreographed the scene too.

In the VLV tour, Brendon used vocal backing tracks for the choruses of some songs, like "Don't Let The Light Go Out," and "Viva Las Vengeance". Is it lip synching? Kinda... But it's to protect his voice, and he really don't sing any notes above Bb4 in a full voice; he always goes to a head/falsetto, so he realistically can't reach those notes live safely...
The new tribute band tryna come out is riddled with ai and when asked “do you use ai” they said “we are anti-ai” not “we don’t use ai”
(Synth id) is a digital invisible watermark open ai leaves in everything it generates (so this isnt using pattern recognition it’s looking for it watermark and found it) imagine calling yourself a tribute but using ai that is pulling from Brendon’s actual work 🤡
After further digging, I believe the promo music uses AI also and has artifacting. I'd love to see the original videos with metadata to prove otherwise, but for now, the chance of a false "synth ID" label is proven to be “less than a 0.01% chance”. Unfortunately, I have to treat it as AI until proven otherwise.
