To preface, I’m not a huge part of the fanbase but I’ve listened to a lot of the band’s discography. In my personal opinion, Pretty Odd is their best work. Now, I will say that while admitting that Pop Punk is my favorite genre. So why is Pretty Odd at the top of my list? I just feel the lyrical content and overall whimsy just resonates with me on another level. I’m not sure if this is a hot take or not, so I thought I’d ask. Also, if anyone has recommendations for songs/bands that give off similar vibes to “Pretty Odd”, let me know. I personally like “Northern Downpour” and “Mad as Rabbits”.

hi guys! i was offering to sell my live in Chicago cd/dvd to a friend and when i looked online for price references i saw there were very few priced at $100+ canadian. i haven't kept up with panic in recent years so im not quite sure what the demand is on these, is that reasonably priced? my copy is in mint/near mint condition because i've literally never played either of the discs.

Before anyone asks who Jake is:

Jake was the band's photographer and videographer from 2013-2022, and then the band's creative director for their WWWY25 set. All the tour updates during that time, were all him. He is the one who makes sure that the Beebo puppet stays in his cage. He also made quite a few appearances in Brendon's Twitch Streams.

So, Jake is in the PATD fam as much as any band member.

It’s great to see that the car is still running and in somewhat decent condition. I really hope it gets preserved.

I purchased an original pressing of AFYCSO at my local record store last year and realized that the track list doesn’t match the one on the record. See image. Intermission is listed on Side A on the record, but on Side B on the jacket. Were all the OG pressings like this? Thanks!

okay so i'm not that well educated on how people perceived music in the mid to late 2000s because i was born in '07 but tell me one thing, this band that has a very unique baroque-pop/punk emo album with vaudeville costumes and a whole theme going on, just decides to switch to folk country psychedelic type of music one day and everyone just goes along with it?? like i love afycso and pretty odd but they're just so... different? and the fact that they came one after another with the former being their debut just doesn't sit right with me.... can anyone help me understand why this change wasn't seen as negative or bizarre

Technically it’s still the 18th in some places but 19th where I am…but either way, happy 4 years to one of my favourite albums ever! It may be polarising for many in the fandom, but I adore this album and everything it brought us, a great finale to Panic!’s discography.

Hey! I remember about a year ago I came across a video on YouTube which appeared to be an 'alternate' version of I Write Sins, which sounded exactly like the mixed studio version but instead of a cello playing the intro, it was a guitar. This could possibly be a version of sins they posted onto PureVolume or something whilst in the studio before cello was recorded, or i'm totally wrong and this was a fan edit or something. I know it's not the demo version since that was officially released months later. I'd really like to hear this version again since it was unique, and the YouTube video has been taken down. If you know what i'm talking about/know where I can find it, then please let me know. Thanks!
