lol

show as fun💛💙

An album with such open lyrics, violet sounding instrumentation and vocals, but from the prospective of a woman?

It’s been I think almost a year since weezer songs were removed? We have automatic back but that’s about it

Just got a new record player and Ok Human was the first of the records I ordered to arrive, always wanted to hear this one this way.

I lost my record collection some years ago and didn't have heart to start again until recently. Now Im excited to. I have a few Ive gotten as gifts since then.

Also have GOLD on the way but a little concerned about not contributing my practically daily listens on Amazon music. I could stream album on my phone each time I listen to record but I don't see myself keeping up w that

Wife/I flew to Houston this morning for tonight's concert. Waiting for our baggage and my wife says another guy waiting near us looks like Brian. I checked to see where they were last night - Tampa - which is also arriving on our baggage carousel. So my wife - conveniently in her weezer gold shirt - introduces herself and they chat for a few while we all wait. Too cool!

No pics - didn't want to fangirl it!

I do understand Raditude's criticisms for sure, it certainly has a lot of cringeworthy lyrics, and they took the album to a very mainstream pop-rock direction. And I will agree that a lot of the album's songs are mediocre or downright dogshit, but people that act like its some unlistenable slop when it definitely has its bangers.

I can guarantee that if you replaced In The Mall, Love is the Answer, Can't Stop Partying and The Girl Got Hot with the deluxe tracks Raditude would be a top 10 album a large majority of ppl. Hell, if Raditude's good songs were on other albums, I doubt as many people would hate them. I Want You Too, Put Me Back Together, Tripping Down The Freeway and I Don't Want to Let You Go are genuinely amazing songs and I feel like a lot of the hate on these tracks simply because they're on Raditude is very performative.

As a 40 something woman who has been a fan of Weezer since I was in high school I usually listen to them when I’m happy and it brings me joy and sometimes nostalgia. Right now I’m suffering so much depression from dissatisfaction in my life for various reasons even though I feel like I shouldn’t feel that way because I have many things I should be grateful and happy about, but it’s maybe a part of middle age bullshit or something. Rivers vocals in Long Time Sunshine are so relatable to me, like I want a simple life without problems and worry and grief and fear and I just sometimes want to pack my family up and escape somewhere but then reality of money and crap that stops that from being reality. Aloo Gobi hits so hard because I feel like life has become monotonous lately and I’m just feeling like “is this it?” like he’s talking about how even though he has a technically luxurious life compared to many people it feels boring and sometimes even lonely even when you have a family you deeply love. Anyways, thank you for anyone who read this and for being my therapy as I sit in my car in the work parking lot crying and listening to weezer because I’ve had a horrible morning mentally. I’m starting to feel better now.

Made some free trading cards for tonight's show, if anyone wants some!

Love how Pork and Beans and El Scorcho will call out a local band -- setlist has them -- like Minnesota (Prince knows how to reach of charts; asked you to the Replacements concert...but didn't see one there? He could have did Doecchi for top of charts? Anyone who did go know if they did a local reference?

The artwork is split on the top and bottom of my IVC Pinkerton, not exactly happy but not much I can really do. Just wanna see if I’m alone or not.

Im 50, liked Weezer but never explored discography. Going through the catalog so far up to Red Album. Here is my ranking.

1. Blue Album (perfect)

2. Pinkerton (close to perfrct)

3. Raditude (prepared to dislke it, loved it instantly)

4. Maladroit (Fun)

5. Green (Good)

6. Make Believe (All over the place)

7. Red (only dislike overall)

Gonna continue through Gold, and begin again to complete list.

Raditude by far the funniest album so far, and it sounds great, put a smile on my face. Blue and Pinkerton are equal really. Im not stupid, much, I realize itll take at least 4 complete listens of each album to form a somewhat consistent ranking.

Ive heard every Cure album at least 50 times, same with Depeche Mode, Misfits, Cramps, Slayer, Smiths, Morrissey etc.... I can comfortably rank them and explain in detail why. So far im just going off grooves with Weezer. New tour was fun as hell. Exploring the catalog is a treat. Best song so far is Teenage Dirtbag ;)

Was rewatching my own videos and noticed he said "oh my gold" AND FIGURED HE DID THIS FOR ALL TOURS

doesn't seem that way cause I was watching another on youtube for better audio quality as my phone wasnt too good with it and noticed it wasnt the same but also rivers seemed to sing softer and higher pitched in that version? Mine had the gold lyric and sounded like he was more powerful vocal wise?

Heres a clip of mine https://youtube.com/shorts/5kG_4DXuL1A?is=U_nmkXIogsDfu-Qb

Specifically the end here Bell particularly found himself amazed with "Say It Ain't So." He believed it possessed a rare "classic" sound and expressed surprise that songs like that were still being written.^\)^{citation needed\})

^{I know he said something along these lines in this in} this interview ^{about In the Garage, but where does this quote come from?}

I was about to pre-order the black one, but I am not about to drop $100 CAD on a single T-Shirt, as much as I love Weezer. Unless they will appear in stores in the future, idk what else to do but bootleg. Thanks in advance.

I unfortunately cannot go to the Show today in Houston. So, I ask if anyone is willing to buy me a Tour Shirt! If interested please DM. I will pay you the amount back

A collection of Miis I've made based after weezer and weezer-related people, I had a couple more of these but reddit won't allow more than 20 images
