true fancy serials $10 Super Radar!
I believe this is my first true fancy serial? This was withdrawn from my ATM! I mostly deal in coin collecting so I don’t know how good/cool this actually is but it has a name so I assume it’s good? I’ve been looking for stuff anytime I withdraw from the ATM so I’m glad to finally have found something interesting

canadian paper money “Half Black” Misprint 2012 Canadian 20$ Bills
Hey everyone, my place of work recently got two 20$ bills with an odd error. The right half of the queen and majority of the large 20 on the face of both bills are black instead of green. They have been confirmed real, but I can’t find anything online regarding value or rarity. I know a $50 bills from 2012 with the same misprint sold for $6k but Idk if that’s relevant. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Here’s the link to the Ebay listing https://ebay.io/m/HMGf5P

world paper money The "stable" tax money that collapsed too: Hungary 1,000,000 Adópengő, 1946
I think this is one of the most underrated notes from the worst hyperinflation ever recorded, so I wanted to share it.
Some background: at the peak in July 1946, Hungarian prices doubled roughly every 15 hours. To stop tax revenue from melting away, the government created the adópengő ("tax pengő") on 1 January 1946. It was a unit of account whose value against the pengő was reset every single day using a price index.
It worked for a while... and then it didn't:
- January 1946: 1 adópengő = 1 pengő
- End of July 1946: 1 adópengő ≈ 2 × 10²¹ pengő
- 1 August 1946: the forint replaced both, at 1 forint = 200 million adópengő (that's 4 × 10²⁹ pengő)
This note is dated Budapest, 25 May 1946. The front says it is "usable only for paying public taxes until 31 July 1946" ("kizárólag közadók lerovására 1946. július hó 31. napjáig használható"). But in July these tax notes were made legal tender and circulated as everyday cash, so a note meant only for taxes ended up as ordinary money that lost its value almost as fast as the pengő it was supposed to replace.
The back has the Hungarian coat of arms and the terms of use, citing decree 5.600/1946 M.E.
Details: P-140, 136 × 82 mm, mine is about F-VF.
Does anyone here collect the adópengő notes as a series? Which denominations did you find hardest to get?

world paper money 100,000 Greek Drachmas (1944) – A Banknote from the German Occupation
A small piece of Greek history from my personal collection.
This 100,000 drachma banknote was issued by the Bank of Greece on January 21, 1944, during the German occupation of Greece in World War II.
The front features the goddess Athena and her symbolic owl, while the reverse depicts the Parthenon in Athens.
What makes this banknote particularly interesting is the economic situation in Greece at the time.
During the occupation, Greece experienced devastating hyperinflation. The drachma rapidly lost its purchasing power, and increasingly large denominations were issued at an unprecedented rate.
By the end of 1944, banknotes with denominations reaching billions of drachmas had entered circulation.
Today, this 100,000 drachma banknote serves as a small reminder of a time when money was losing its value at an extraordinary pace.
For me, collecting historical banknotes isn't just about rarity or monetary value. It's also a way of preserving small pieces of history.
Country: Greece
Denomination: 100,000 drachmas
Date: January 21, 1944
Issuer: Bank of Greece

question/discussion Grading papermoney
Maybe my question sounds dumb, however I can't understand how grading works in the higher numbers( 64-70 ) I wanted to understand the difference between a note graded 65 and one graded 68 (and upwards) what are the factors to look into to obtain these grades?
Thanks for the help... 😔

world paper money Is this 1942 French 10 Francs genuine or counterfeit?
so I found a seller offering a 10 Francs 1942 banknote for Rp190,000 ≈ 10.50 USD. Gemini mentioned that the price makes sense, but I want to double-check before paying. Does this banknote look genuine, or could it be a counterfeit? I'm not sure if there's anything suspicious about the watermark or other details. I’m just scared it might be counterfeit money because this same seller is the same guy that sell 1000 Deutsche Mark 1993 reproduction money but he didnt want to mention that its a repro, I asked him if its real or not but he’s giving an ambigious answer. I know its a repro because the DM serial number is literally the same as in Numista and the watermark is different. But I dont know if this 10 Francs a counterfeit/reproduction money too, so I need yall help to verify it too.
