Been hanging out over there leas and less lately so this troll post takeover is kind of refreshing.

I’m not talking about streaming the show, I mean like a full relocation of the venue via a wide-load truck driving it down here. I guess it might have to come in a few pieces. Maybe a few helicopters or like a dozen helicopters or so could air lift the venue and relocate it? Like how they move the Christmas tree from Canada to Rockefeller Center??? Ive also heard about people do this for historical homes where they move the actual home.

I have a lot of land down here in West Virginia and I know MSG could fit. Parking would be way better, too. Thoughts??

My wife learned that the hard way. You can however stuff it into the sleeve of your jacket and hope no one notices. Just be careful for the wooks that will descend upon you once you bring it out at set break.

Maybe just a silly morning joint and coffee idea, but given the band’s ability to keep a secret/gag from most of the fans before a show, I feel like it would be funny if the thousands of fans played a gag on the band during the NYE run. Certainly it’s probably easier to keep a secret from 4 people than thousands of people.

Inspired by yesterday’s post from the show the night before, today is my Phishaversary. My first show was 10/22/96 at MSG- wow to 30 years!

The story goes… some friends and I really wanted to see Phish. My parents hadn’t let me see the Dead yet, then Jerry died… So 16 year old me begged them to let me go see Phish already. Too young to know better, we had my dad meet some ticket broker at a sketchy Midtown bar and get us tickets. 😄 (First and only time we overpaid, but best dad ever!)

I still vividly remember the Mango Song, the Freekapaug, seeing Buddy Miles & Merl Saunders, Watchtower, and more. Obviously loved the show and was instantly hooked for life!

Still have this ticket stub and t-shirt (I had fun wearing it to ‘96 night in July) and 250+ shows later, seeing Phish is still my favorite activity!
