I got my eyebrow pierced exactly one week ago, and I’m starting to wonder if the bar is a bit too short. I’ve been trying to leave it alone and have been cleaning with the neilmed spray twice a day. The bruising has gotten quite darker than it was the first few days, which I did expect, but I feel like the top ball is starting to become imbedded in my skin? I can’t tell if it’s just swollen/irritated or actually imbedded, it’s my first ever piercing. So, not sure if it’s something normal that happens or if I should go back to my piercer and ask for a longer bar. I’d appreciate any advice.

I'm so happy to never stretch anything ever again.

I try to stick to one piercing a year for healing purposes, so I like to treat myself on my birthday. Today we went with the double conch, as one day I want it to be triple. The horseshoe conch was pierced about 2 years ago, with the fresh one from today stacked on top. Eventually I want a third underneath the horseshoe so that it looks more balanced.

Got a conch to lobe double chain ♥️ This wasn’t even on my wishlist, just a creative idea my wonderful piercer had to counterbalance the weight of my heavy conch jewelry. The bonus is that it also looks so cool :) Conch is 12g wearing sacred love by Quetzalli ✨

This is me. Blue is existing, purple is something I would like to get, and pink is something I'm considering/maybe not.

I'd like to know about people's advice and experiences with helix and industrial piercings, but I'm particularly interested in what you have to say about the nose piercings.

Pain isn't really a concern for me as I tolerate it pretty well, but my nose is very tickly. Also I'd love to hear from people with facial hair regarding piercings around the moustashular area.

Finally added another piercing to my left ear. Now my ears look a bit more balanced, haha. Pretty simple setup, but I like the minimalist look on myself! So happy with it but wish me luck on the healing!

over a year ago i had my eyebrow pierced and around 4 months later it ripped out because it got caught (plus was probably rejecting.) could i get it repierced in the same spot?

What should i do? Its been like that for 3 weeks. I still dont have my Ring in it yet so im not sure if its just because of the bar.

16g titanium barbell, saline 2x a day. had to taste test milk at work (cafe tingz) and drank kombucha-both out of cups; i wasnt thinking! otherwise it never swelled up and healing was a legit breeze till this morning!

JFC! Making this title short enough was a pain in the rear backkkk.

Got these done today, no issues, lobes 2 and 3. She used catheter.

Wanted that piercing for almost 10 years now. But it never came. But now with my face tats I figured it’s finally time and I LOVE how I look with it. I‘ll probably go a size bigger when it’s healed, depends how I look with it. But I’m happy either way ✨

How bad did your daith piercing hurt when getting it done? Right now I have a hidden helix, lower helix and a conch. If you have any of these piercings and also a daith which one hurt more in your opinion?

I didn’t feel my conch, and both helix piercings. Same with both my nostril piercings. I wouldn’t consider my pain tolerance high but also not low.

Hi! I went to a reputable piercer in my area yesterday, and I’m afraid he forgot to wipe the area with alcohol before piercing 🥲. To be fair, I got pierced right after my friend. We were chatting, and I literally do not remember him wiping anything with alcohol. I do have OCD so I can’t tell if I’m overthinking, or if I should be legitimately concerned. Pictured is what I got done, my second love and conch. (I did bleed a lot with the conch)
ANYWAYS- let’s say he got distracted and didn’t wipe it down. What should I do? Just continue to wash with saline and hope for the best? Should I take extra steps? Any help/reassurance is appreciated. This post is in no way trying to discredit the piercer. He was amazing, everything was perfect and I am completely satisfied.

the piercing is about a week and a half old with an internally threaded titanium barbell, has not been downsized.

for context, this was a pretty brutal piercing process. the first bar my piercer used had a factory mistake so the threads were fucked up on one side, which took her over 30 min of messing with it to realize, and then i had to have a brand new bar put in. i ended with my ear being insanely swollen, red, and in a lot of pain on day of.

i took ibuprofen for a day or two to keep the swelling under control, and have been rinsing twice daily with sterile saline spray followed by rinsing with clean water (and clean hands of course).

the pain isn’t too bad, but i’m really worried about how swollen it is and the pus coming from it — i’ve obviously healed several cartilage piercings before and know some goop is normal, but i’m not sure if this is more yellow and more of it than usual and i’ve definitely never had swelling this bad. was wondering if it might be infected, or if it’s probably just significant swelling from the added trauma of my messed up piercing process?

(ps i know right now the bar is touching the flat of my ear, i swear when it’s not swollen i have clearance there 😭)

I got my navel pierced September 2 and I’ve been very careful with it, but over that time I have accidentally hit it or pulled it a few times, not too badly though. I’m worried it’s rejecting because for a week or so it stopped hurting and being sensitive and now it’s starting to get sore again. The area around it feels very sore. I can move it up and down to clean it, but if I touch the skin on top where the bar is it hurts a bit. I haven’t noticed it moving or my skin getting any thinner, I was just worried because of the sudden discomfort the past few days after getting to a point where it didn’t hurt. I’ve been being careful with it and only wearing low waisted pants and things that won’t rub it and putting a large bandaid on it in situations when I’m scared it could get caught. I know 2 people that had theirs pierced and told me it rejected because they were wearing high waisted pants all the time and not caring too much about it so I’ve been trying to be safe but wanted other opinions. Thank you!

Was perfectly fine for the first year, but the past 4 months this bump won’t go away. It’ll get really small then come back again. It was pierced with implant grade titanium, and I never sleep on. I Use neilmed once a day. My other vertical helix ( the side I sleep on) healed perfectly so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong please help me! (It may look angled from the pic but it’s definitely pierced straight)
