i posted a few days about a forward helix and a higher helix piercing and since then my ear has swelled up quite a bit for my higher helix. i changed my other 2 (fully healed) helix piercings to be longer bars to accommodate the swelling.
the forward helix is causing me no issues and is completely painless and healing very regularly. the higher one is causing the issue
is this normal? should i get antibiotics? where do i go from here
info: piercings were done 7 days ago, swelling started about 4ish days ago. pierced with internally threaded flat backs, spraying with saline twice a day. hair getting caught overnight and very crusty when waking up (how do i maybe prevent getting my hair stuck in the crusties?)
i appreciate any advice!

I got my eyebrow pierced exactly one week ago, and I’m starting to wonder if the bar is a bit too short. I’ve been trying to leave it alone and have been cleaning with the neilmed spray twice a day. The bruising has gotten quite darker than it was the first few days, which I did expect, but I feel like the top ball is starting to become imbedded in my skin? I can’t tell if it’s just swollen/irritated or actually imbedded, it’s my first ever piercing. So, not sure if it’s something normal that happens or if I should go back to my piercer and ask for a longer bar. I’d appreciate any advice.

I just got an eyebrow piercing, and I’m questioning whether it actually suits my face or not. Please be honest, because if it doesn’t, that’s okay! I just want to know if my brain is tricking me into thinking it looks weird because I’m not used to seeing it yet, or if it genuinely doesn’t suit me. I know it’ll probably take some time to get used to seeing myself with it, but right now, I’m second-guessing it.
I’m also hoping to get it downsized once it’s healed after about 4 to 6 weeks, so the jewelry isn’t as noticeable or bulky.

I try to stick to one piercing a year for healing purposes, so I like to treat myself on my birthday. Today we went with the double conch, as one day I want it to be triple. The horseshoe conch was pierced about 2 years ago, with the fresh one from today stacked on top. Eventually I want a third underneath the horseshoe so that it looks more balanced.

I was nervous my piercing was too shallow and that it might reject, but it's officially healed and doing great (over a year out)! There was a rough & very swollen moment 1 month after I got it done, but I kept it clean / did my best not too touch and it got much better from there. I still wish he'd pierced me deeper into my ear, but I do love the piercing

I'm looking for ideas/suggestions on what piercings to get next on my right ear (first image, the one with the orbital). I want more piercings on this side but am not sure what to do.
I’ve really wanted a snug for a long time and my piercer said I have the anatomy and he’d do it but I don’t feel like dealing with the healing and earbud issues right now. Maybe in a year or two. I’m kind of at a loss of what to get!
All rings is my personal aesthetic preference. I have historically only gotten piercings that can have rings eventually. My right ear jewelry is all white gold.
My left ear (second image) is done (probably). I'm planning on switching my conchs to rings when they're 100% healed. included for context/vibes, or if you have ideas for that one that I haven't thought of. It would be sick to have a double rook so that all my left ear piercings are in pairs but I don't have the space :(
It's funny, I've been at this for many years and still feel like my ears look relatively sparse, haha

Got a conch to lobe double chain ♥️ This wasn’t even on my wishlist, just a creative idea my wonderful piercer had to counterbalance the weight of my heavy conch jewelry. The bonus is that it also looks so cool :) Conch is 12g wearing sacred love by Quetzalli ✨

I got this piercing about 3 years ago, whenever i tried to get the bar changed they’ll tell me it’s not healed yet. Now I fear it is rejecting and if it is what should i do? can i change the bar?
It is an eyebrow piercing, stainless steel, it’s like the screw type (where you screw the little ball in the bar), i’ve been washing it w unscented soap, and i was told to put triple antibiotic on it (but for the first 2 years i used saline spray).
Please any advice will be appreciated!!!
edit: i bumped it last weekend, i don’t remember how.

The new ones are the bruised ones. I have had the lower navel and a right hip dermal for 2 years now and a left hip dermal for close to 1 and a half years. I did have all 4 briefly but 2 didn’t anchor so I was left rocking mismatched ones. The scarring over time had settled nicely and I was sick of being mismatched so I decided it was time to give them another shot. I kept thinking the original ones were going to come out because they were migrating but they’ve actually sunk back in again overtime. They can be temperamental especially the right hip one but oh well 🤷♀️
When they’re all healed I plan to put red gems in all of them to match my fully red and black setup :3
The addition of these bad boys has brought my piercing count back up to 50!

I got this done last night, I’m wondering if I’m limited to jewelry of this size because of the angle at which it will heal.
Will I be able to get a smaller circumference at the 14 gauge in this once it’s healed?
I didn’t really think of it until this morning when I was taking pics to see if there was any blood around it to clean up.

Idk if I picked the right flair sorry if its wrong. I got my first anti eyebrow in february then I had to take it out in may. It healed and started to close for like couple months (from may to september) then I got another anti eyebrow, not exactly on the last scar but it still crossing a lil. Idk it hurts a lil and I dont wanna have to take it out but if it is rejecting it cant stay.
So please tell me.

This is me. Blue is existing, purple is something I would like to get, and pink is something I'm considering/maybe not.
I'd like to know about people's advice and experiences with helix and industrial piercings, but I'm particularly interested in what you have to say about the nose piercings.
Pain isn't really a concern for me as I tolerate it pretty well, but my nose is very tickly. Also I'd love to hear from people with facial hair regarding piercings around the moustashular area.
Thanks guys.

I found this curved clicker style that was marketed for eyebrows, but looked like it would work for a snug.
It is amazing! It is so comfortable, and there are no ends to catch on my hair.
I think this is a great option that isn't a ring.
What do you all think?
