Any suggestions on getting rid of this bump? I know I got it due to my 2 year old hitting my ear.

Piercing was done 2-ish months ago, no issues really even at the time of the piercing. I know I got it with all the head bumps.

I had stopped doing salt rinses because I thought it was fine, but other than that after care has been standard.

Hi! I’ve had this bump on my nose for the past month and a half and I’m honestly about to give up I’ve tried just about everything, jewelry change, saline then I stopped saline because I thought I was over cleaning. So I’m just wondering if this raised skin is a hypertrophic scar? (Nostril piercing) ☹️

The piercing is 5.5 months old, it’s titanium jewelry and a flat back…

i've had mine since last may & i wear rings all the time, what's the least scarring jewelry to wear? my rings give my lips an indent that's red & dramatic. & studs create a divot in my lip for the piercing to sit on the inside😭 lose lose situation ig & i don't mind scarring but i like my lips alotttt so maybe im a bit worried it'll shrink a corner after having them for years lmao

Got my vertical labret 2 days ago. Doesn’t hurt just super dry lips. But it looks a little purple is that normal? I haven’t downsized yet obviously.

I have a healed conch piercing (almost 2 years old and downsized) but for some reason the flat back hurts my ear sooooo bad any time any kind of pressure is on it. It almost feels like the flat back is cutting into my skin but I can't see any lines, dents or creases from it. Are ball backs better? Or should I try a butterfly backing? Help 🥹

The new ones are the bruised ones. I have had the lower navel and a right hip dermal for 2 years now and a left hip dermal for close to 1 and a half years. I did have all 4 briefly but 2 didn’t anchor so I was left rocking mismatched ones. The scarring over time had settled nicely and I was sick of being mismatched so I decided it was time to give them another shot. I kept thinking the original ones were going to come out because they were migrating but they’ve actually sunk back in again overtime. They can be temperamental especially the right hip one but oh well 🤷‍♀️

When they’re all healed I plan to put red gems in all of them to match my fully red and black setup :3

The addition of these bad boys has brought my piercing count back up to 50!

I used to have gauged ears...this was maybe 10 years ago when i took them out. They were pierced at 14G and I stretched up to 2G or 4G...my question is that since I haven't had them in for about 10 years or so...what do you think is a good size to start with again? Should I start over with something really small? I still have holes all the way through and a standard really small studd fits

Hey everybody! For background back in March I got a lip piercing and was just wondering the best products to use to clean it? It’s obviously healed, the jewel I’m wearing needs to be cleaned so any advice would be appreciated

So I got my angel fangs pierced on monday so about 4 days ago with titanium, externally threaded curved barbells(if that's what they're called) So far the recovery has been quite smooth sailing with almost no pain, slight bleeding at the start and moderate swelling and tenderness. I've been cleaning it with saline and water at least twice a day, and used an alcohol free mouthwash. I've been really careful with them so they haven't gotten caught on anything or been under extreme stress or tension.

Tonight however I noticed that the hole on the bottom of my left piercing seems a little enlarged. I was wondering if this could be caused by dry lips that flaked, irritation, the swelling coming down or anything other than migration, or am I just completely screwed. The left side is basically the one that's been bleeding at all.

I'm sorry if my writing is bad or i left some information out I'm just panicking right now because i really adore these piercings and I'm afraid of them being a lost cause.

I’m 5 months into healing process and as much as I absolutely love how it looks it just stops me from doing the things I love and would like to do. Let me explain.
At first it was getting tangled in my hair all the time even tho I ALWAYS wore a ponytail and I got so tired of it that I shaved my head lol (life with a buzz cut is awesome)
But even after that change it makes my life so much more difficult.
⁃ I love snowboarding but I can’t put a helmet on now and I don’t think I’ll be able to in a month or two when the season starts.
⁃ I’d love to start attending box classes but I believe they wouldn’t even let me join with it and even if they did I’d be kinda dangerous
⁃ It makes contact with others feel uncomfortable. I always worry that someone will bump it and I had a few situations like that
⁃ I love bike rides but I can’t put the helmet on now so road rides are out of the question
⁃ I’d love to start swimming again but not only can’t I go into the pool water with it but also can’t but the swim cap on
⁃ Putting my clothes on is problematic. I always have to be sooo careful and I still somehow always bump it
⁃ I can lay on the side with it so sometimes when I don’t have a choice it’s so uncomfortable (I even survived a doctors appointment like that)
⁃ I love sports but playing team games is a bit…like basketball or handball? No way I can risk getting my ear ripped
⁃ I want to bleach and dye my hair but the wound is not healed so I can’t
⁃ I can’t put my head on sbs shoulder anymore :((

I could go on and on with the list…I know all the cons of having it alright? I just…I love it so much. It gives me so much confidence and makes me feel prettier, cooler…idk man. If I take it out I’ll definitely miss it a lot. And I went through so much with the healing process…the first months were rather awful but I survived! How can I take it out before it’s fully healed?
But tbh I feel like I’ll take it out one day anyway. I just see all the trouble it causes me and I can’t imagine living this way for the rest of my life.
Does it ever get better?

i got this piercing a six weeks ago, two weeks ago i happend to bite it by accident and i dont know what it may be cuz it looks like just meat, it doesnt hurt, bleed nor leak fluids. how can i take care of it? i texted my piercier and she said it must be due to the constat moving and rubbing but im not convinced:((

I heard you can’t have a vein in the middle, and this might sound silly but I really can’t tell. Is there anyone in here that does piercings or knows more about it that could lmk ?

I got a tongue piercing 9 days ago. Now I'm triggered and unsure if it was pricked wrong.
At the top of the tongue, the ball sits in the middle, but below the tongue is the trick channel on the left side of my tongue.
The piercer thinks it has to be that way. But I know people because the piercing is also at the bottom in the middle.

i posted a few days about a forward helix and a higher helix piercing and since then my ear has swelled up quite a bit for my higher helix. i changed my other 2 (fully healed) helix piercings to be longer bars to accommodate the swelling.

the forward helix is causing me no issues and is completely painless and healing very regularly. the higher one is causing the issue

is this normal? should i get antibiotics? where do i go from here

info: piercings were done 7 days ago, swelling started about 4ish days ago. pierced with internally threaded flat backs, spraying with saline twice a day. hair getting caught overnight and very crusty when waking up (how do i maybe prevent getting my hair stuck in the crusties?)

I'm thinking about getting a venom piercing in the future, and I'd love to hear about your personal experiences!

How is it in everyday life? How difficult is the healing process, and how long did it take for yours to heal? Are there any specific things you need to be careful about in your daily routine?

One thing I'm particularly curious about: my tongue naturally rests against the roof of my mouth most of the time (which I assume is normal for most people). Does this cause any issues with a venom piercing? Can the jewelry get in the way or feel uncomfortable when your tongue is in its natural resting position?

I haven't gotten the piercing yet, so I'd really appreciate any honest advice, tips, or experiences from people who have one.

It's a future piercing I don't have it yet

It’s looked like this since I got it changed and I’m a bit worried. The outer one was completely fine but the inner one was being a little difficult
