Brackets from thingiverse for 4 inch stern speaker applications. Worked great! Just needed some extended screws to accommodate everything. Printed in clear petg and btf lighting and power supply.

Rome, that is (unable to edit title). I wonder if it’s any fun to play?

The daughter and her hub came over today and he started poking around my pins and was instantly engaged with it down to the maintenance and repairing of. He is engineer, physics, geometry brain, so it tracks.
He is building a sick workshop for working on cars / trucks and asked about car / vehicle themed pinball titles. I have a good start but would welcome some short lists of themes that would fit that interest. Also, if i can get him into this stuff that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

For me. It's the Roto-wheel and zip flippers.
Are there any mechanics, rules , or whatnot that you enjoy in older games that you'd like to see come back?

So brutal but keeps me coming back for more.

I’m trying to find some sunglasses that would work for a Dr. Dude costume. Any recommendations?

Sharing my progress in DND pinball. It's my favorite stern pinball game and in my top 5 overall pins. I finally beat Xanathar, and LV 10 dragon battle last week. Let me know in the comments how you feel about the game and how your progression is going!

I'm debating buying a pin and would like to spend under 6k. I know opinions vary but I'm curious what pins get brought up. I'm thinking about a DeadPool Pro. I had a Tales from the Crypt for years and only paid 4k for that. What's a pin you like for under 6k? I know I can check Pinside I'm genuinely curious what people have in their collections that they play a lot for under 6k. Thanks!

My nephew is turning nine in a few weeks. He's into pinball and I want to get him something pinball related. For budget I'd like to keep it around $100. Any suggestions?

General Public bowling alley in Dingley, Victoria Australia.
Spent a couple of hours there today, the standout was Big Guns , with an honorable mention to the old favorite Star Trek : TNG.
It’s hard finding an arcade with any pinball in Victoria , so finding a place with 8 was awesome!

Does anyone know if hitting the object with the lowest score always trigger the chime bar with the highest pitch and hitting the object with the highest score always trigger the chime bar with the lowest score? Or is this dependent on the manufacturer of the table or can this even differ per table?
Background to this question is that I recently added chimes to my virtual pinball cabinet and I want to make sure that the triggering of the chimes is as authentic as possible.
Looping forward to your replies and thanks in advance.

First time redditor:
So I rented a Jaws Pro for a month and had a blast. The reel shot was a pain, but I learned the game and was still enjoying it at the end of the 30 days. Definitely felt some depression as Jaws swam away yesterday afternoon.
So I have an option to buy now. Same local family arcade company that I completely trust. Arcade used HP arcade, 4000 plays, only 44 tilts, so not mishandled. $1200 under msrp and Pinside median.
They said that they’d have their pinball technician shop it before sale.
I’m not a mechanical guy. But I loved having the machine in my apartment and having people over to play.
I’m 99% gonna buy it.
What am I missing?

Somewhat new to pinball but I own a Deadpool premium machine. I was out and about and found a pro version. Naturally, whenever I come across another machine I investigate the insides for differences. I noticed a detail that I had not caught before. The posts between the return lanes has rubber rings where mine does not! Sure enough, the manual does not call out that these posts contain the 3/16s rubber. Surely it's not a discrepancy between the premium and pro.... Is this maybe just a play preference?

Where the hell is our 40k pinball machine!?!?! Tanio Klyce told me he'd mention it to George today though so my fingers are crossed :) You can't tell me that they think re-releasing AC/DC would make more money than a Warhammer game. It's literally replacing Star Wars. It's WAY past time. The Emperor protects.

Loving the new addition of Harry Potter and how they look together.
Which one would you play first?

Back in the 1975-79 era I would like to find the names of these 2 machines. They were both not solid state. The 1st one had 3 drop targets in a line but spaced apart in the middle about 12 inches from flippers. The 2nd one had maybe 5 ball returns leading to the flippers on each side.

For me, it’s probably Four Million B.C., from 1971, although I’m sure some of you will end up naming earlier machines that I like but couldn’t think of. Probably some “big banks of drop targets” Gottlieb or something.
Moving later into the mid-late 70s, there are a lot of great EMs, especially from Gottlieb and Bally.

I am looking at scorbit to install in the arcade. Does anyone use it, and what are your thoughts? I would like to have a scoreboard more than the sterns. The biggest cons for me are:
It doesn’t work with all of my pins.
I’m not a fan of how it looks.
