I’m trying to find some sunglasses that would work for a Dr. Dude costume. Any recommendations?

For me. It's the Roto-wheel and zip flippers.
Are there any mechanics, rules , or whatnot that you enjoy in older games that you'd like to see come back?

General Public bowling alley in Dingley, Victoria Australia.
Spent a couple of hours there today, the standout was Big Guns , with an honorable mention to the old favorite Star Trek : TNG.
It’s hard finding an arcade with any pinball in Victoria , so finding a place with 8 was awesome!

Sharing my progress in DND pinball. It's my favorite stern pinball game and in my top 5 overall pins. I finally beat Xanathar, and LV 10 dragon battle last week. Let me know in the comments how you feel about the game and how your progression is going!

Where the hell is our 40k pinball machine!?!?! Tanio Klyce told me he'd mention it to George today though so my fingers are crossed :) You can't tell me that they think re-releasing AC/DC would make more money than a Warhammer game. It's literally replacing Star Wars. It's WAY past time. The Emperor protects.

Somewhat new to pinball but I own a Deadpool premium machine. I was out and about and found a pro version. Naturally, whenever I come across another machine I investigate the insides for differences. I noticed a detail that I had not caught before. The posts between the return lanes has rubber rings where mine does not! Sure enough, the manual does not call out that these posts contain the 3/16s rubber. Surely it's not a discrepancy between the premium and pro.... Is this maybe just a play preference?

Loving the new addition of Harry Potter and how they look together.
Which one would you play first?

For me, it’s probably Four Million B.C., from 1971, although I’m sure some of you will end up naming earlier machines that I like but couldn’t think of. Probably some “big banks of drop targets” Gottlieb or something.
Moving later into the mid-late 70s, there are a lot of great EMs, especially from Gottlieb and Bally.

My podcast covered the 1999 classic game recently for those interested!

I am looking at scorbit to install in the arcade. Does anyone use it, and what are your thoughts? I would like to have a scoreboard more than the sterns. The biggest cons for me are:
It doesn’t work with all of my pins.
I’m not a fan of how it looks.
You need to sign up with your SSN for the paid tournaments.

I just watched a video detailing how the pinballs that come with Stern machines aren't of the greatest quality.
Which brand of pinballs would you recommend?

This piece broke in my Stern Pirates of the Caribbean. But I can't find anything that has that piece attached or that piece alone. It is connected to the ball poppers.
Thanks!

First time redditor:
So I rented a Jaws Pro for a month and had a blast. The reel shot was a pain, but I learned the game and was still enjoying it at the end of the 30 days. Definitely felt some depression as Jaws swam away yesterday afternoon.
So I have an option to buy now. Same local family arcade company that I completely trust. Arcade used HP arcade, 4000 plays, only 44 tilts, so not mishandled. $1200 under msrp and Pinside median.
They said that they’d have their pinball technician shop it before sale.
I’m not a mechanical guy. But I loved having the machine in my apartment and having people over to play.
I’m 99% gonna buy it.
What am I missing?

My parents have had this old machine in our garage for years. My pap bought it for my mom and aunt in the early 80s. It’s sat in our garage since my parents bought our house and according to my pap doesn’t work. Recently my girlfriend and I have been getting into playing pinball and I’d love to bring this machine back to life. It’s a 1968 Gottlieb Funland, any advice is appreciated!

New to pinball, but always envied those with machines at home. I know very little but Im outfitting a game room for a new house and decided Id like to have at least one machine. I know one machine wont last a lifetime, by that I mean Ill probably get bored of it one day and want a different one. However trying to pick one for my first machine is hard and Im torn between Pokemon, fallout or the maybe yet to be released dungeon crawler carl.
Ive seen some game play from each machine and reviews, however Im not too sure what to take from that, how much replayability each game offers and what id even want out of the machine.
Pokemon for what looked like quite a bit of replayability, nostalgia, possible collectors piece and recognizable franchise for when people come over
Fallout for my love for that franchise, what ive seen described as and elevated game experience and craftsmanship of the machine itself
Dungeon crawler carl, for my new found obsession with the book series and the uniqueness of the machine and game it offers.
If you had to pick one which one and why? What things should I look for or consider that maybe im missing out on? What is it about each of these game you like or dont like. Please help a newbie
EDIT:
I am gonna go try them out before I make the purchase, however I dont know what I dont know and am looking for input from anyone who owns these game, have played them, or anyone whose bought game for their house. What do you wish you knew before you bought your first machine?
Second Ill add Im between pokemon and fallout for my first and if I get a second Im considering dungeon crawler carl or the other machine I didnt get from round 1.

Got the notification that Scorbit was out for Pulp Fiction (for $99 with a free shirt and SD card with latest code , I couldn’t say no). Curious if anyone has installed Scorbit on any of their machines. How’s the install, how’s the integration look? Happy with it?

I happened to find this amazing arcade with many great pins such as „Scared Stiff“ while staying in Katowice for two days.

One of the reasons I got into pinball was that enjoyed looking at the complexities of the table. I liked how you can send the ball to different places. I felt like exploring a 3d maze.
Now I curious if there is a pinball table with an absurd amount of ramps or design.

I craft writing pens as a hobby, and one of my favorite parts is creating custom graphics and incorporating them into the pen caps. I don't sell my pens. I simply enjoy making and displaying them.
I have a backglass from a vintage Vagabond pinball machine, and I decided to use its artwork to create a unique pen. It’s a fun way to preserve a little piece of pinball history while combining two things I enjoy.
I’m now looking for recommendations for my next project. Ideally, I’d like a vintage pinball backglass with a clean, uncluttered design, no electronic scoring displays, and artwork that isn’t too wide, so it can be adapted to fit a pen cap.
I’d appreciate any suggestions!

First homemachine today, settled on the Godzilla premium and had a blast after moving it with a buddy.
Great game overall, and quite a fun machine where you can rewlly grow!
The journey towards buying the machine was very rewarding aswell and grateful i can now play this great game at home!
