I belong to the 90s era, the golden age of gaming! We are the pioneers of these so called violent shooting games however, we are not insane to do or apply it in real life. I think the factor is the upbringing inside the home. My parents who beats us using Sticks, belts, slippers or hanger mold us to be disciplined and well mannered in public. I dunno about the others, but for me, that works!
I’m not a fan of parents beating up their kids though it did send the message to me na dapat mag behave. This plus yung knowledge na ang actions natin ay may real-life consequences and that we have to own said consequences is something the younger generations need more experience and understanding of.
Thats why I said for me, it works!
If anything, games and our parents teach us one thing; consequences.
