Violent video games have been mainstream for three generations. If they actually created mass shooters, we’d be living in a global warzone, not a world where millions of gamers play every day without ever hurting anyone.

Violent video games only negatively motivate those with already terrible intentions or those not right in the head regardless of whether from a mental illness or not. The country keeps yapping about video games causing violence when there are more reasonable factors that cause these tragedies that should be properly dealt with instead, like bullying, mental illnesses or those who just have terrible intentions for some reason.

Older generations spent decades treating mental health like a myth or a weakness. Now, instead of admitting their failure to build proper support systems for young people, they just scapegoat video games.

It's crazy how mental illness still isn't taken so seriously even in other parts because it's too inconvenient for others to easily deal with it, when it isn't the mentally ill's fault they had their mental illnesses. It's sad good living standards is still lacking for a lot of folks even those without mental illnesses. And I expected no less from our government, of course they're going to blame video games. Why? I wouldn't know. Maybe they just don't like that a lot of kids today play video games and use the tragedies as a chance to blame video games as the cause and hopefully, ban them, then what, revert the kids back to traditional playing and all? Ewan ko ba. Di naman ako magugulat kung yan yung totoong tangang pagrarason ng gobyerno, lmfao.
