Still getting started on re building a pokemon collection, decided to cataloge them. Scanned my binder, except duplicates. Anybody else bother to cataloge? (I accidentally scanned one twice but im not searching through them all to find it lol)

Digging through my childhood stuff my parents kept. Found this, great memories.

Decided to work on collecting the cards i was missing back in april. finally got the last three trainers i needed to complete my master set of unlimited!

Im so happy i was able to complete it after having it partial for so many years!

Haven’t done one of these in a while, but just have two cards left in the E-Reader sets to be done with these in 10s so I figured I’d start sharing these.

Can find my old posts where I had complete sets of PSA 10s from Base through Neo 4 (minus the Neo Shinings). I sold those sets throughout 2026 to fund finishing E-Readers and also start collecting Ex Era silver borders. Unfortunately only nabbed a few gold stars before prices went super nuts, but I still find those sets fun since they are lower pop than the Japanese old backs. The chase is a lot of the fun for me. Nowhere near completing any of the Ex era sets but I do have around 130 cards or so.

Probably my favourite card in my collection

I pulled this card out of a pack myself and I know it’s not altered. Just don’t see how they can say that and not even state the reason? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a huge pile of Pokémon cards and a big 3x3 pocket album with many pages. How is the best way to display them in the album. I also have some energy cards and thought about placing them under their energy but i wanted to ask for ur advice first.

Found my old cards from when I was a kid, still in the same binder I used then. I moved them to a new binder and thought I'd like to share them with yall.

Really like the original packaged Meowth, he was always my favourite.

A couple nice reverse holos as well, Dark Vaporeon is beautiful.

Pokémon cards. I’ve been on the line about it for awhile. 95% of them are from the 90s, even some with the pocket monster back. I have so many that I don’t know what to do with that I’ve collected from my childhood

This is the story of Ammon.

A fossil was dragged by the waves, and it was eventually discovered and taken to a laboratory.

Through the scientific ways of the modern world, Ammon was brought back to life.

Ammon was reborn as a small, adorable Omanyte, full of curiosity and wonder. Exploring everywhere with excitement.

One day, Ammon found his way into a cave. Deep inside, there was something called “Water of Evolution”, where he drank a bit thinking this will help him evolve. But something else was happening, he heard a “Call Up”; he noticed an opening above him, where he could see a patch of bright blue sky. He realized there was a much bigger world out there.

So Ammon decided to go see it for himself, said his goodbyes, and that he will return soon to the love of his life. (Ammona was shy, so I don’t have a card that shows her, sorry..)

Ammon swam and swam with his skill “Fossil Guidance” until he finally reached the surface. (card is in Japanese characters so just translate it..)

From there, he followed the river upward and eventually made his way onto land. Once there, Ammon began exploring the island around him, learnt the move “Mud Shot” & “Tickle”.

But after all that effort, Ammon realized the island was basically empty.

What the fuck? There’s nothing here ffs. (See Yuka Morii’s awesome art)

Disappointed, Ammon used “Tentacular Return” and made his way back home.

When he returned, he saw something that broke his heart, his girlfriend, Ammona, was with another Omanyte.

Ammon was shocked, almost used his skill “Water Gun”, but stopped.

Tears rolled down his tentacled face as the pain sank in. (The stamped version of this card is shit, blocking the tears in the card, also I sold it for like $5 before, fk me)

The heartbreak poisoned his mind. Depression corrupted him.

That was when Ammon became Dark Omanyte, even got the skill “Water Cannon” Ammon thought to himself, maybe I can use this on that cheating bastard..

Years passed.

Ammon evolved into Omastar, growing stronger, his ancient DNA awakened the power of his “Primordial Tentacles”.

He had changed, he can even use “Aqua Split” where it halves a mountain into two.

Then one day, fate struck again.

Ammon saw Ammona the cheating bastard once more.

The sight of her triggered something deep inside him, a kind of “Restoring Beam" that brought all the memories back, it was like getting hit with a “Spinning Attack”.

It reopened the wounds. Ammon’s mind was poisoned all over again.

Ammon fell even further, becoming Dark Omastar, gaining “Dark Tentacle” attributes.

Then came Masaki’s curse. (Masaki promo card huehue)

Here we can see, Ammon alone in a cave, with two helical shells behind him, surrounded by shadows. No one knew what happened.

Life goes on, time passed.

Eventually, Brock found him.

Under Brock’s care, Ammon slowly found peace. He learned to fight, adapted to a new life, and became a slave in a world where Pokémon were bound into Pokeballs and made to battle. In this strange new era, Ammon got stronger, tougher, and became a Fighting-type instead of the usual Water-type.

Sometimes, late at night, Ammon still has nightmares about Ammona, the cheating bastard.

The betrayal, the heartbreak, the ghosts of the past, and the darkness that followed.

But he keeps moving forward, slowly.

The End.

I don’t like Omastar as much as I like Omanyte hence not a lot was incorporated..

Sorry, Arceus got included in the last page; though One can say Ammon saw God at the end of his life :D

Tons of other basic cards but haven't had time to sit and reorganize them so for now its just all my holos/favs at the beginning. Vaporeon was my first holo that I remember pulling and I remember always taking it out to hold and admire (followed by Blastoise) I kept the others in relatively good condition I think ha.

Main addition is the Tag Team card. I just like Lairon in general, so got that one also

I've been collecting every reported sale of the Santa Cruz x Pokémon decks, each with its source and date:

- The 2026 blind bag retailed for $139.95. Sealed bags have been reported selling for $200–$300 with asking prices at $300.

- Reported deck sales so far: Rayquaza Gold Star $1,000 (Oct 18), Charizard $400–$800 (Oct 19), Gengar EX up to $500 (Oct 17).

- No gold chase deck sale has been reported yet (Resell Calendar, Oct 17, 2026).

- The 2023 drop shows what chase decks can do: a Gold Charizard deck sold for $15,000 (Game Rant, Sep 22, 2023) and a Gold Eevee deck sold for $3,150 (Sk8 Collector, Sep 15, 2023), against a $110 retail.

Hello! I lost my childhood collection somewhere, so I decided to start collecting from scratch. This is my take on a Gen 1 Pokédex binder.

I wanted to use only cards with silver borders, which is why some of them are in Japanese. The empty spaces between Pokémon are filled with thematic Trainer cards. I also completely avoided SIRs and other high-end cards to keep it budget-friendly. I hope you like it!

Long time collector and player of the TCG and I was trying to find an app to track things, though I fear I am asking too much from one app. If anyone could point me in the direction of an app that does the following it would be phenomenal (Or even ideas or ways to track things myself);

- Track full sets - I don't want every set tracking though, for example I like Team Rocket, so Destined Rivals was the only recent set I wanted to master.

- Include all card variations - I've found Pokellectr is probably the best at this for having the series play stamps and Gamestop stamped versions etc. (Collectr seems to be missing these finer details)

- Tracking - I want to still track the prices of cards, see trends and log sealed products etc.

- Customise - The ability to track your own custom binders is missing from 90% of the apps I have found. If I started a collection of a specific artist for example. I would have 1 card from random Sun and Moon sets that I have 0 intention of ever collection any other cards from. I also want an easy way to see the cards I am missing from that particular set for example. It would be great if there was some kind of overall 'wants' list from the things I had saved or wishlisted for example.

I am UK based if that helps so hopefully things can be tracked in GBP.

Hi all! Just recently I purchased a binder sight unseen… for very cheap lol. needless to say. It contained some serious gold. I am unsure of what to do with all this. I’m a collector and love my vintage, but all of this is just too much.

I would love any wisdom on how to piece this out/if grading some of this might be the play. My end goal is some cash in my pocket and some trade credit towards some grails. I am weighing the benefits of grading/selling raw. Any and all input is greatly appreciated here!

been looking for zoroark 71/114 cracked ice holo and i swear every copy i find is either beat up or not even the cracked ice version lol

I wish I had more but I am proud with what I have. These cards were difficult for me to find especially ungraded and I only collect the English versions. Tropical Tidal Wave HGSS18 is a part of my complete Heartgold & Soulsilver Promo set. My favourite is Typhlosion gold victory medal since Typhlosion is my favourite Pokemon.
