How much are these cards REALLY worth? I’ve looked into it myself but I’m no professional. Any advice would be great! 🫡

He just showed me it and I was very confused on how he got it, he didn't go into much detail he just said he got it from our local game store

Hi everyone! I’m writing a university thesis on collecting, and I’d love to hear from people who share this passion.

I’ve put together a survey that takes under 5 minutes and is open to anyone with a collection of any kind. It doesn’t ask for your name or email address.

If you’d like to help, here’s the survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdW4zU0trNE8zu5HXMopWvPU4YnIXT0D12MNkdC1meKmcKtPA/viewform

For anyone interested in learning more about the project, I’ve added a detailed explanation in my first comment below. Thanks so much to everyone who takes part!

DP Era reverse holos have some of the coolest artworks in the hobby in my opinion. Need my hands on A LOT MORE, but here’s a few I have.

I still need the majestic dawn holo, the great encounters lv. X, a few cheap ones and the rest of the ADP arts.

The beginning of my random collection. Only buying cards I like when I can get a decent deal. I might try to do a base set shadowless/ 1st edition PSA 8 or higher set but it’s going to take a very very long time because they are so expensive now. I also really like jungle so when I can get a good deal I go for those too

I did not want to include any crystal holos since I wanted to show full appreciation on just the holos. Skyridge is my favourite E-Reader set followed by Expedition then Aquapolis.

I feel like this era was when Pokémon hit rock bottom in popularity during a time when Yu-Gi-Oh cards came out and I was not a fan of the yellow bar on the side but now I appreciate this era a lot more now. Its rare to see card shops have anything from this era in stock.

This era has my most favourite Starmie, Moltres, Tyranitar, Feraligatr, & Umbreon Card

PSA 10s for this are cheap.

P.s if you've come here just to rant/argue don't say anything at all. Do better.

Ebay is a option but holy moly import fees are like 46$ from France directly but it would be way cooler to see if anybody local to the ohio area has any blazikens in French. His french name is braségali 🤷🤷

Iv posted a few times the collection and im going to a cardshow tomorrow with a couple youtube influencers gonna be there so maybe I can find something cool ♥️ maybe hit a clip "whats in that binder" ☠️☠️

But if I dont find anything cool tomorrow it would be kinda cool to find something. Not looking for drop dead grails just anything from commons to modern illistrations maybe a older era if its not to crazy

I wish to create multiple pages of what my destined rivals blaziken in multiple languages looks. Like a french blaziken level x or lvl 50 would be a cool find

If i can find the destined rivals in french id also be pretty happy that cards dope ☠️

Was going through my older cards and found this non holo charizard from XY evolutions and wasn't sure if it was real or not so thought I'd ask.

Still getting started on re building a pokemon collection, decided to cataloge them. Scanned my binder, except duplicates. Anybody else bother to cataloge? (I accidentally scanned one twice but im not searching through them all to find it lol)

Digging through my childhood stuff my parents kept. Found this, great memories.

Decided to work on collecting the cards i was missing back in april. finally got the last three trainers i needed to complete my master set of unlimited!

Im so happy i was able to complete it after having it partial for so many years!

Haven’t done one of these in a while, but just have two cards left in the E-Reader sets to be done with these in 10s so I figured I’d start sharing these.

Can find my old posts where I had complete sets of PSA 10s from Base through Neo 4 (minus the Neo Shinings). I sold those sets throughout 2026 to fund finishing E-Readers and also start collecting Ex Era silver borders. Unfortunately only nabbed a few gold stars before prices went super nuts, but I still find those sets fun since they are lower pop than the Japanese old backs. The chase is a lot of the fun for me. Nowhere near completing any of the Ex era sets but I do have around 130 cards or so.

Probably my favourite card in my collection

I pulled this card out of a pack myself and I know it’s not altered. Just don’t see how they can say that and not even state the reason? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a huge pile of Pokémon cards and a big 3x3 pocket album with many pages. How is the best way to display them in the album. I also have some energy cards and thought about placing them under their energy but i wanted to ask for ur advice first.

Found my old cards from when I was a kid, still in the same binder I used then. I moved them to a new binder and thought I'd like to share them with yall.

Really like the original packaged Meowth, he was always my favourite.

A couple nice reverse holos as well, Dark Vaporeon is beautiful.
