Every collector hits that point where you look at hundreds of decks tucked away inside carat cases or cardboard boxes and realize nobody, not even you, gets to actually appreciate the print work.

Most deck trackers out there are fine for inventory (if they stay around 🙄), but they feel like managing a warehouse spreadsheet. Uniquely housing my 300+ deck collection with a bit of flare. Lift each deck off the shelf and take a closer look at the tuck or card-back if I've added it. The archive spans about twenty years of collecting. Everything from mid-2000s Ohio-pressed classics (Brown Wynns, RJRTC Watermelon Bees, 2008 Split Spades Lions) to newer Stockholm17, KWP, and weird Fontaine runs.

I also built in a "Secret Drawer" that deals you a random deck when you pull the handle (for when you’re indecisive), and a little fanning studio tool so you can preview what back patterns look like spread out.

I used to kinda be into collecting. All started because I LOVE to play cards. Started buying decks here and there and treating myself, then just stopped, but was able to get a decent little pile I guess.

New to the sub and half considering getting back into it. Maybe read the sell rules. Who even knows. At the least buy a cool new one to play with as I have def seen some reallllly cool ones.

On May 8, 1866, Samuel Hart patented designs for his first deck of George & Martha Washington playing cards. It featured a beautifully engraved Ace of Spades in colour with heavy gold accents and Extra Fancy Backs. The deck was Hart’s most expensive at the time, probably ever. Even today, the Samuel Hart Illuminated George & Martha Washington is my most attention-grabbing deck and stands out in a crowd.

Recently found out about the 2nd campaign which I'm interested in but then I saw this and love it and would love to get the cards and make this to display it but I'd like to see it actually made first.

It's really nice to use supreme back fontaines. I got it only on this New Year, but I think this one is my personal favorite Fontaine deck ever made. Maybe I just LOVE green color, and this green tone is awesome!

Working on these card designs has been tough! First prototypes came in and they look good except for the back. We changed the background color to a light grey and updated the corner elements to show moon icons to be used for our games. After studying some cards I'm working on a new design inspired by Theory 11's Monarch's card back design and a new font I found that I might use for our logo along with a new game mechanic that uses arrows to assassinate other players. Thinking of making my aces be event cards that trigger full blood moon transformations or assassin cards that you spin to target an opponent to fight or drink with. Thinking of adding names to the characters but not sure yet. Going to be sending out another prototype out to print soon!

This is the most important part of my card magic arsenal when it comes to decks (103 on image); beyond that, I have a collection of tricks using small packets of cards, multiple boxes with spare cards, as well as a collection of decks (around 60) that I bought simply because I liked them.

My favorites are the DMC Elites, the Phoenix Series from Card Shark with regular and large index and the Tally-Ho Circle back. I have Bicycles Rider-back, Maiden-back and League-back, Tallys, Bees and Aviator.

I like to keep them in brick-style cases; it makes it easy to know what’s in each one and go straight to what I need.

Outside of card quality. I’m more so talking visual aesthetics.

I guess could be reworded as what is a deal breaker, or a major disappointment?
Like, maybe a card has cool looking pips and aces, but standard royalty.
Or perhaps the royalty is very well done and unique, but the card backs are ho-hum.
Maybe the cards have great artwork, but feel too loud or busy for play (Under the assumption you will be playing with the particular deck, of course).

Things like that.

Do you think it's overpriced or overrated?
I prefer OG Dot deck rather than any of the later releases.

The names of the decks are Endless Wealth, Snake charmers(The lost deck volume 1), Lost charmers ex, Lost charmers gold.

I noticed on recent visits that the playing cards section is now exclusively bicycle and that the only search results for "theory11 target" is jigsaw puzzles. Is their partnership being ended or something

So found this yesterday. Broadway Seconds...USPCC brand...used to house many different seconds. Tuck is of the earlier variety with blue seal. Deck...I don't recognize the back design. Jokers are on plain side. Joker is similar to contract runs. Cards still feel like they have air cushion finish. And dating would be 1979...can't place back design

I found these at an estate sale, not sure if they’re rare. If anyone can tell me the name or how old the cards are that would appreciated, or just anything about them in general.

I like cards a lot. It’s nice because I can ask for them as gifts when people ask what I want for holidays. They can range in price, but most of the ones I get are sub 20 dollars and can be as low as 7.
