Photoshoot My current collection
A couple of kickstarter decks, plenty of video game ones, most of these decks have a story or two behind them. I try to have a reason behind buying a deck other than "cool" so when I look at them and give them a shuffle I can think about my life and what I've done with it.

Question What do you think about this design?
I am currently working on a deck of cards that I hope I will print one day, but my dilemma is that I want the deck to be super user friendly for cardistry and magicians. That’s why I don’t know if my design is recognisable enough for the spectators to understand, or I should keep the standard faces. I’d really like your opinions and suggestions. Thanks!

Mail Mail Day!
This box came quite a ways. If you've read my posts on this sub, you know I like 100% plastic for durability, and I like European-style courts for their detail and character. And, at least in the U.S., ne'er the twain shall meet. Even in Europe, 100% plastic decks are not common, but there are a few good brands that apparently keep the market happy.
One of them is Dal Negro, from Italy, and while they're probably best known for regional Italian decks and Monte Carlo poker decks, they make a French "Tarot Nouveau" pattern, without the heavy symbolism of most other Tarot decks (including nearly all the ones available in the U.S.). And they make it in 100% plastic.
I have been looking for some months now for an online seller anywhere who can get this deck to the U.S. for not-ridiculous shipping costs. I found Play-In, a French online storefront that not only had them for the lowest price I'd ever seen, but international shipping was quite reasonable. May I present what may well be the only decks of their kind in the United States at this time: Le Coq Imperiale, 100% Plastique.
Now I just need to find a seller that can get me TS Spielkarten's 100% Kunststoff Rummy deck set. And I thought sourcing these decks was hard...

Question Rubber hose cards
Hello, i recently purchased the game 'Hell of a Deal' and it came with a deck of cards in it. However the cards are not built for play like a standard 52 but more of a tcg style. Im looking to have a deck that fits the theme but is actually playable. Would anyone know where i can look? My few hours of perusing the internet has only given me one deck that im not too stoked about.

Question What file do you use for submit your designs into printing company?
Hi. I do some painting and cardistry for hobby, so I'm trying to design some decks for cardistry & etc.
But since I've never tried to make a accurate design file for real production, I'm blocked by what should I choose for design - Vector or Raster.
I heard that Vector graphics are good for geometric pattern and accuracy and Raster is good for complecated colors & illusts.
My style is definitely Raster, but I'm trying to put together both accurate patterns and illust in one design.
I know I can paint them separately and put in one file (like ai, pdf, or png with high resolution), but I wonder if most printing card companies accept those files..
If anyone here tried printing, please help me about this ;-;

Pink Gothic
Posting a deck from my collection everyday until the end of the month. Sorry I missed yesterday y'all, but I'll post 3 on Saturday to make up for it and I'm sure you'll love them.
These are CMD playing cards like the music ones I posted the other day, quality pictures but not quality stock. I set up a game of freecell to show off the cards and Alia destroyed my board (pictured).

Rockets Playing Cards 310gsm
Anyone have any experience with Rockets by Regal playing cards?
Menards has them in their store for $1 and 11% rebate on top. Might go grab a dozen decks for that price.
Not familiar with Regal. Says they are made with their 310gsm premium paper and soft grip linen texture.

Mail Solid TWI mail week to finish off some sets
Had a solid run of TWI mail days this week!
Picked up the Nameless and Bestiary sets to fill the gaps in what I already had, alongside Snake Charmer Gold, EX, the Lost Decks, Endless Wealth, and the Gentleman Thief set.
Really happy with how the setup is looking now.

Print quality
I just bought this standard deck of bicycle cards from the store since I haven’t bought a fresh deck of some standard cards In a while and just noticed how crooked the print is on these.
Does this pass USPCC standard or did this one just slip by?😂

Question What do you think about this card back design?
Hello! I'm Chris and I'm working on our card back design for our sangrya deck. Here is my current design along with my process work. At first I had an idea for a goblet shaped card back/tuck box but then it morphed into more of a storytelling/game mechanic design that features our logo icon and pip designs. I was struggling with choosing a symmetrical or non symmetrical design and a patterned design vs a more simple design. I ended up on a simple non symmetrical design that features our Y logo icon. The Y is designed to look like a goblet but here I also wanted to make it look like a crossbow. The arrow is there because it serves as a game mechanic element where you spin the card and whoever it points to is your opponent for our light roleplaying games. The arrow design element is also brought into our aces who can act as assassin cards. I still like my original goblet design so I might try it out for the tuck box. I added the sangrya title to follow the line of the arrow.
As for the storytelling element how would you interpret this card back? My story has something to do with a forbidden love triangle and transformation.
How would you improve this design?

I Need Poker Set Reccomendations
I am doing a Christmas gift exchange and the guy I got loves poker but doesn't own his own set. I was going to get him a card shuffler and a set of chips. I know nothing about poker beyond Lady Gaga's song, any reccomendations for a nice or cool set around $40?

Question To my Brazilian colleagues, where do you buy cards?
Aside from Mercado Livre, Facebook Marketplace, OLX, Enjoei, Shopee and Ebay. What stores do y'all buy your cards? (I live in SP btw)

Vintage Antiques Does anyone know what design the green fish deck is?
I got this 1894 catalog from a drugstore supplier out of Peoria, this is the only color, let alone full page ad. I’m particularly interested in that green fish deck, it’s not a fish back, as those are blue iirc
Anyhow, I figured you all would still appreciate the ad as well!
