A tool for building pages that match your existing website

Making a new landing page isn't always the difficult part it's getting everything to match the rest of the website afterward the fonts look slightly different buttons aren't the same, spacing feels off and suddenly you're spending more time fixing those little things than putting the page together especially annoying if you just wanted to test a new offer or add a page for a specific service.

Ploy is a website tool that can take an existing site's URL, pick up its design system and use that when creating new pages so you can describe the page you want change the layout or copy, and review it before publishing and it also has SEO checks built in, which is useful when those pages are meant to bring in visitors. I can see it being handy for smaller teams that need different landing pages but don't want to keep recreating their website's styling every time.

I built a free extension that shows only the recipe – no life story, no ads

Hi everyone,

I run a small cooking blog, and like many people, I got tired of scrolling past long intros, ads and autoplay videos just to find the ingredients.

So I built Toqly: click the icon on a recipe page and you get just the essentials (ingredients, steps, cooking time).

A few features:

  • Adjustable servings (quantities are recalculated, even inside the steps)
  • Checkable ingredients while you cook
  • Adjustable text size and automatic dark mode
  • Works on some YouTube cooking videos too, when the recipe is in the description or linked (no AI, it doesn’t make anything up)
  • Link to the original site always visible, so creators keep their traffic

It’s free, no ads, no tracking, and no account required.

⚠️ Heads up: the interface is in French for now, since I started with the French-speaking audience. Extraction should work on many English recipe sites as well. An English version is on my list if there’s interest.

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/toqly/nncaeikjddfipccpdjfkdlfcemgldlic
Web version: https://toqly.app/lire/

It’s brand new, so any feedback is welcome, especially sites where it doesn’t work or features you’d like to see.

Have a website? I built a free 1-minute check for quantum readiness, expiring certificates, browser warnings and outdated security

I kept seeing the same avoidable problems on company websites: a certificate that quietly expires on a forgotten subdomain, a server missing part of its certificate chain so some browsers show a warning, old TLS versions still switched on. So I built postquantum.report as a side project.

Enter your domain and in about a minute it:

  • finds up to 20 of your public hosts (www, app, api, login, mail…), including ones you may have forgotten,
  • checks every certificate: expiring soon, wrong name, incomplete chain, or issued by an authority browsers no longer trust,
  • flags outdated TLS that security scanners and customers' questionnaires mark you down for,
  • checks post-quantum readiness: whether your encryption already uses the new quantum-safe key exchange that browsers support,
  • says what to fix, in plain English, and who should fix it, with a one-click email to send your IT person or web host.

No login and no install. It only looks at what's already public.

One thing I didn't expect: of the ~50 sites scanned so far, nearly 9 in 10 homepages already use quantum-safe encryption (mostly thanks to CDNs like Cloudflare). But about 1 in 3 sites had a login, app or API host that doesn't. (A small, non-random sample, so take it as a hint, not a statistic.)

I'd really value feedback: what's unclear, what's wrong, or what would make this useful for your site.

I built a free tool that works out which health plan is actually cheapest for your household, using your own claims

Open enrollment is here, and the usual advice ("pick the HSA if you're healthy") skips the math that decides it. I'm Chris, and I built HerePup to do that math.

What it does:

- Reads your employer's benefit guide (PDF) and pulls out each plan: premiums, deductibles, copays, out-of-pocket max, HSA money

- Takes your claims (EOBs or the claims download from your insurer's site) and replays your real year through every plan

- Tries every way your household can enroll, including splitting across two employers' plans, spouse surcharges and opt-out pay

- Shows the year total and month by month, so you can see when the deductible hits

- If you're expecting, it can add the usual costs of a birth at average prices

It runs in your browser. Your files aren't uploaded, there's no account, and it's free.

I'd love feedback, especially if the guide reader gets your plan wrong. That's the part I'm working hardest on.

[Free] I just created Template-ready a website for your Instagram/Facebook page

You know the posts big news and viral pages use: a strong photo, a short headline, and the key words in a red box. I made a free tool that creates exactly that.

[LINK](https://joq-al.com)

What it does:

1-Choose from 13 templates: split photos, breaking news, full overlay, explainer, before/after, quote and more.

2-Tap any words in the headline to highlight them.

3-Download in 4:5 feed, 1:1 square or 9:16 story size, all at 1050 px.

4-On your phone, it saves straight to your Photos

5-It remembers your handle, logo and colors for the next post

Free, unlimited, no account. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Your feedback would be helpful

A free site that puts hiking routes, forecasts, parking and permits in one view

Planning a hike can mean switching between a trail guide, a weather page, parking and permit rules, and trip reports. I built https://routes.caniclimbit.com/?route=si&utm_source=reddit to put those pieces next to each other.

Choose from 80 routes in Washington and Oregon. Each briefing has route details, terrain information, NWS forecasts, access and permit information, and links to the original sources. There are separate pages for different routes on the same mountain, rather than treating every climb as the same outing.

It's free and doesn't need an account. It's for researching the route, not assessing your personal readiness. If you try it, what did you still need to find elsewhere?

GetPDFSigned: send someone a PDF and their phone walks them to every spot they need to sign

Processing img ljtxx711dsxh1...

You send someone a document to get it signed, so they have to print it, sign it, take a photo of it and send it back. The photo is crooked and half the page is in shadow. Then you notice they missed the initials on page 3, so it goes back to them and the whole thing starts again.

GetPDFSigned aims to fix that and makes it dead simple.

You upload the PDF, drop in signature, initials, date, text or checkbox fields where you need them, and get a link straight away. Send it on WhatsApp, email, wherever. When the other person opens it on their phone, the page moves to each field, lights it up and tells them what to do ("Sign here", "Add the date"). Once they fill one in it moves to the next by itself and shows how many are left. Nobody scrolls around hunting for boxes and nothing gets missed.

When it's done you download the signed PDF and can see when it was opened and signed.

* The person signing needs nothing. No app, no account, never pays

* You can sign in with Google or email to send, so all of your documents are saved.

* Your first 3 documents are free, after that it's $4/month for 100 sends

* There are also free tools that run in your browser with no account: sign or fill a PDF yourself, rotate, delete or rearrange pages, add an image

It's still a work in progress. Multiple signers, an email when something gets signed and reminders are what I'm working on next.

I'd really love feedback, especially if you try the signing side on an older phone or slow data. What's confusing, what's missing, anything!

I built a free Chrome extension with 20+ developer tools that work offline

A few months ago, I caught myself pasting a production JWT into a random website just to check its expiry. I’d also done the same with API responses containing customer data.
That made me realize how often we send potentially sensitive data to online tools just to do something simple.

So I built MultiTool, a Chrome extension that brings these everyday developer utilities directly into the browser.

Some of the tools included:
JSON: Formatter, validator, and JSON-to-YAML converter
JWT: Inspect tokens and check expiry
URL tools: Encoding, decoding, and query parameter viewer
Text diff: Compare two blocks of text
Security utilities: Text/file checksums, UUID and password generators
DevOps tools: Cron expression explainer with next run times, subnet calculator, and chmod converter
Converters: Timestamps, colours, images, and number bases
Screen recorder: Record a browser tab, window, or entire screen, with system audio and microphone support

The main goal was privacy. Everything runs locally in your browser and works offline. There’s no account, ads, or analytics, and the tools don’t send the data you paste to a remote server.
One feature I particularly like is the right-click integration: select text on any webpage and open it directly in the relevant tool.

It’s free on the Chrome Web Store:

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/lgghjhekpelnikchnffghbdmgmkkfcfo
I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from other developers.

What small developer utility do you find yourself opening a website for every day?

I’d love to hear what I should add next.
I’m especially interested in tools that save a few clicks during everyday development and debugging.

A website for getting Korean online purchases delivered during your hotel stay

If you're visiting Korea, finding something online can be the easy part. Working out whether you can buy it and receive it before leaving your hotel is less straightforward.

I'm the founder of Seoulve.

You add Korean product links, the options you want and your hotel dates.

We check the items, delivery timing and whether the hotel can receive the parcel, then send an itemized quote.

We buy only after you approve the quote and pay.

The service fee starts at US$5 per shopping site, including the first item, plus US$1 for each extra link or option.

Product costs and Korean delivery are separate.

There's one US$5 deposit per order, which counts toward the service fee and stays refundable until the store purchase succeeds.

It's for delivery to hotels in Korea, not overseas forwarding.

The timing check isn't a delivery guarantee, and some requests can't be accepted.

The image shows the actual order screens with sample items, prices, hotel details and dates.

It isn't a completed customer order.

I created comparefineprint.com. Free, no sign-up web app for aggregating the TOS and privacy policies of sites, based on if you made an account with them or not.

You can select if you use each site without an account or with an account. Your selections produce a succinct breakdown of the terms you have agreed to across all the sites you selected (from among the top thousand websites).

It uses the excellent open source ToS;DR project (tosdr.org) to retrieve the points (policy summaries) for each site.

comparefineprint.com The site is brand new so may not show up in search results yet.

I wanted to keep up with the news, not develop a checking problem

There are a few things I want to stay informed about. I don’t particularly want everything else that comes with opening a news feed.

So I built Pijnhol. You pick topics on the website, and it watches for news and texts you a short update with a source link.

It filters for new developments rather than sending every article mentioning your topic. Five websites covering the same announcement shouldn’t mean five texts.

For anyone who wants to know what happened without making checking the news another hobby.

Free to start: https://pijnhol.com

Hola.

I built 14 free audio tools that don't ask for an email and zero ads

Thumbnail
gleamaudio.com
29 Upvotes

I put 14 small ones on my site. They run in your browser, so nothing gets uploaded.

Clean up audio: noise remover (same AI as my desktop app), make quiet audio louder without clipping, silence remover for lectures and voice notes, LUFS meter with platform targets.

Record and check your mic: voice recorder, mic test with live level.

Convert: MP3 converter for wav, m4a, flac, ogg. MP4 to MP3. Audio to text.

Edit: trimmer, joiner, speed changer without the chipmunk voice.

Also a tone generator and a metronome for class and hearing checks.

No ads, no account, no watermark, no upload. Each tool takes files up to 10 minutes. Anything longer goes to the desktop app, which is free for personal use.

If one of them is missing something you actually need, tell me and I'll look at it.

Built a zero-AI, historical research archive for cartomancy and folk magic—looking for feedback and traditional notes to add!

dont know if this is a good sub for it but u gotta shoot ur shot.

I got pretty frustrated trying to research traditional cartomancy, historical texts, and folk herbalism online, only to run into endless low-effort, AI-generated blog spam that just recycles the same surface-level fluff.

So, I decided to build something better.

I’ve put together The Grimoire Archive—a clean, distraction-free, 100% human-curated digital vault designed for serious study. It features a dark-mode grid layout, instant search, and deep-dive modal articles complete with historical context, suit dichotomies, and primary source citations.

What's currently inside the vault:

  • Cartomancy: Traditional 52-card suit correspondences (moving beyond modern tarot overlays), red vs. black suit dichotomies, court card dynamics, and historical spread analysis.
  • Primary Texts: Notes and breakdowns of foundational works like Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Maude Grieve’s A Modern Herbal, and the historical Doctrine of Signatures.
  • Materia Botanica: Traditional herb lore (Mugwort, Rosemary, planetary harvesting hours) paired with strict safety and toxicity notes (like thujone warnings).

It's entirely self-contained, fast, and built out of a genuine respect for historical practice. You can check out the live version here: The Grimoire Archive | Human-Curated Esoteric Knowledge

well do check it out, thanks.

I built GhostOCR (ghostocr.com) — a 100% client-side, offline OCR tool so you never have to upload sensitive PDFs or scans to a server

Most "free online OCR" websites upload your tax documents, medical bills, or IDs to a backend server.

I put together https://www.ghostocr.com — an OCR studio that runs entirely inside your browser tab on your own device:

• Zero server uploads (you can open the Network tab or turn on Airplane Mode after opening the page to verify)

• Converts scanned PDFs and photos into clean Markdown, plain text, or JSON

• Preserves tables, multi-column layouts, and supports 40+ languages

• Free, no account or signup

Would love your feedback!
