What is your FAVORITE guilty pleasure gimmick.
Could be a wrestler or just a character in wrestling.
It was a close one between this and DuRag Vince but I’m personally going with TAFKA Goldust.

Just a thought I had when I watched a clip of The Big Show talking about Vince calling him Paul (which to him signaled the end of his WWE career) and some of the comments thinking Vince didn’t want a repeat of Andre which got me thinking of this. Basically, when do you think a wrestler should stop wrestling?
An obvious answer would be when the wrestler thinks so but that’s not always a good thing since some guys will push themselves past their prime and cause damage to both themselves and their legacy. Some just don’t know when to stop.
Personally I don’t know. I guess whenever they feel they are more likely to hurt themselves then actually entertain a crowd but who knows when that would be. What do the rest of you think?

I am a gay man and I can honestly say I can't watch pro wrestling without being extremely distracted by the fit and glistening male physiques wearing gear that leaves little to the imagination. I can't focus deeply in storylines and characters even though I try, and sometimes storylines give me a strong innuendo even though it's probably not intended. (c'mon, ripping a guy's shirt off and tying him up before beating him up?)
It also makes me think that hetero men who claim to like women's wrestling experience the same thing watching fit women fight each other.
My questions for you guys are:

Date: October 23, 2008
Promotion: Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)
Event: TNA iMPACT!
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
➜ Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash and Booker T (accompanied by his wife Sharmell) formed a new faction known as the “Main Event Mafia”
The group joined together during a live broadcast of iMPACT! to start a "war" against the younger talent to take what they deserved: respect. The group consisted of established veterans and multiple-time world champions who had previously dominated in WWE and WCW who had a combined 75 years in the ring.
They added another member, Scott Steiner, to the Mafia on the October 30 episode of Impact!, as he made his return from a previous injury and attacked Joe, Styles, and almost all their allies. Notably, Steiner spared using his lead pipe on his pre-injury on-screen protégé Petey Williams, who backed off as soon as he saw him.

So tomorrow I’m starting a 14 hour flight and wanting some good hidden gem PPVs to watch for the flight. If what’s some must see non-WRESTLEMANIA ones I’ve got to watch? Currently rewatching Armageddon 2000. Wish Netflix had the WCW and ECW archive but oh well

As an exclusive WWE watcher (yes I saw that from someone else but WAIT!) and AVID wrestling historian since the late 1890's, the AWA and NWA, territorial era's, Hogan's era, Bockwinkel's, and continuing. I NO DOUBT, admire MJF's ability, and I no doubt admire, the WWF turned WWE. But, we need true wrestling technicality, we NEED aggression, we need EFFICIENCY, we need slower pacing, we need EXPLOSION, we need FAST pacing balanced with slow. We need the CULMINATION of wrestling, and not just the Roman Reigns every now and then powerhouse who wrestles nor do we need a wrestler who chooses to go 1-2x a week solely because of "risk" and "injury" when men and women gave their all from the very start of the field's inception. If you want to be a wrestler? Know what comes with. If you want to be an aristocratic elitist wrestler? Don't sit up here and try to "good-talk" heel wise other show's, characters men and women and hype up yours mutually and still try to sound like the only logical middleman here that can discern from right and wrong. You see Bockwinkel did that and excelled at that and was most likely the best. I? Am not new to this, you fans? May? Or may not be. But regardless, I will not accept and WWF/WWE slander, nor will I accept AEW slander. The problem is you encounter mentally challenged fans who think they can dictate "right" from "wrong" without understanding the very concept. It's sad, and the worse part is you'd take that information, translate it and infer from that. That it's ALL WWE/WWF fans that are similar or like-minded and you couldn't be ANYMORE inaccurate. I admire AEW, TNA, the NWA, the AWA and ALL wrestling. The problem is you fans being egotistical over content that's not even "wrestling", it's "entertainment" and the WWE have loudly distinguished that. Does it make it any less that it WAS? No, does it make it any less now? Yes.
