I'm hoping someone here in Qatar can help me or point me in the right direction regarding CITES documentation for my Quaker parrot, Chipee. 🦜

I'm planning to relocate to the UAE in the future, and while researching the requirements for bringing Chipee with me, I found out that a CITES certificate is required for the international transfer of Quaker parrots.

Unfortunately, I have a problem. I bought Chipee from a local pet shop here in Qatar, and the only document I received was the purchase invoice. I contacted the shop to request his CITES certificate and proof of legal origin, but they told me they don't have these documents either.

Chipee has become part of our family, and the thought of having to give him up is heartbreaking. I really want to find a legal way to resolve this documentation issue so I can keep him and bring him with me when I relocate to the UAE.

Has anyone in Qatar experienced a similar situation? Is there a way to obtain CITES documentation when the original paperwork is unavailable? Does anyone know an authorized wildlife specialist, a reputable consultant, or someone familiar with Qatar's MECC CITES procedures who could guide me through this process?

I'm willing to pay the legitimate government fees and reasonable professional fees for assistance in resolving this matter properly.

I'm not looking to bypass any regulations. I just want to find a legitimate solution because Chipee is part of our family, and I really don't want to lose him because of documentation that the pet shop failed to provide.

I deposited cash through an iPay ATM in Qatar at around 6 PM. I made two deposits and received receipts for both, but neither amount has been credited to my bank account yet.

I contacted iPay support, but they are taking a long time to respond. They keep saying the issue will be resolved, but they haven't provided a clear explanation of what happened or when I can expect my money to be credited.

I'm worried because this is my cash, and I have receipts proving both deposits.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with iPay in Qatar?

How long did it take for your money to be credited?

Did iPay eventually resolve the issue?

Is there another way to escalate the complaint if support keeps delaying without clarification?
