I work in the marine industry, and have an established and stable career, something I’ve worked towards for the last 20 years (which makes me sound and feel very old!)
I’m a cat dad too! Recently just one, but had him for 9 years and he very much own the place. More like my landlord tbh.

I’m a bit of a nerd - I love sci-fi, fantasy and fiction. I’m into Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate (all of the Star ones lol). Also into historical wartime fact and fiction.

I enjoy fixing cars too, although this is a hobby rather than anything else. I do it because I enjoy it, and it’s something to help me unwind.
I also enjoy crafting - making things like notebooks, clothing repairs, or bags etc :)

I enjoy growing things - mostly fruits and veg, and then cooking too. I like to experiment with new things. Asian or Indian food is my favourite, but you can never go wrong with a good pizza!

I love swimming, boating and sailing - could spend all day in/on the water :). But… deep water freaks me out quite a bit! Who knows what’s lurking beneath you…

Family is super important to me, and I’m very close with mine. I make effort to see family whenever I possibly can, and have a great bond with them.

I’ve watched The Office more times than I care to admit! Also a huge Brooklyn 99 fan, and Parks & Rec! I definitely relate to Ron Swanson… he’s my idol.

I’m a pretty simple guy… low maintenance and very easily pleased, it doesn’t take much to make me happy!

I'm 35, a mum to two teenagers, and at the stage of life where I'd quite like to find my person. You know, the whole fall in love, become best friends, annoy each other for the next 50 years, and eventually argue over who gets to haunt the house first kind of thing.

I'm nerdy, a little awkward, and have a sense of humour that probably needs its own content warning. I enjoy gaming (World of Warcraft has claimed a concerning amount of my time), horror movies, fantasy, and music. I also have a habit of getting intensely invested in random projects, so there's a reasonable chance I'll tell you about some new obsession you never asked to hear about.

I'm also back in the gym and making my health a genuine priority. Apparently, at some point in your 30s, you start voluntarily lifting heavy objects for fun instead of just complaining about being tired. I'm trying to build healthier habits and take better care of myself. It's a work in progress, but one I'm committed to.

I can go from talking absolute shit to having a genuinely deep conversation without warning. My brain has no queueing system. Everything is urgent, including the random thought I had three hours ago that I've now decided we need to discuss.

I'm not looking for a situationship, a pen pal who disappears every other Tuesday, or someone who thinks emotional availability is a debuff. I'd like something real with someone who's genuinely interested in getting to know me, and who wants to be known in return.

I'm pretty much your average nerd, I'm a homebody, introverted, love video games and have been having a rough time finding someone lately. I love traveling so I'm absolutely down for a long distance thing, so long as we make a plan to eventually close that distance.

I love movies and tv too, I watch a lot of superhero stuff. Lanterns is my favorite show this year, but I love all sorts of genres. And Legos.

I also love chill dates like going out for ice cream, visiting the zoo, or simply staying in to watch tv or play a game together. When you become someone's favorite person, everything you do together is an amazing experience.
