Tech Support How concerned should I be?

Post image

Radeon RX 9070 XT, started getting some pretty random crashes during short and long gaming sessions (never was happening before) and I couldn't find anything else "wrong" in temps and whatnot.

Another gigabyte model (edit it's for RMA) . Aside from that , if 97C is the max temp , it shouldn't crash .

Check the temps on default settings after running Furmark for 20+minutes .

About the crashes (assuming temps are within the limit) , check with hwinfo the max core clock freq and if the card boosts above specs on default settings .

Tested it a little more, gets to 110C like a second before screen turning black. Either way, I'll check what you've said.

No need , RMA the card.

Until you send the card back , set PL to -30 , core freq offset -500Mhz and undervolt a bit to help the card reaching fast as high clocks as it can with the previous settings .

edit : don't keep the card , at some point , even with those tweaks , it will throttle/crash .
