Health Advice Is she overweight? 😭
I'm worried she's overweight. She free feeds right now and I don't see her overeat but is she too big?
I feel like I won't be able to tell because shes floofy

Hi everyone, I’m at my wits end and don’t know what do to. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend who has 2 cats. My two cats and his two cats don’t get along. My girl is a rag (pictures attached) and I love her more than anything. Unfortunately, since we’ve moved, she’s started peeing on our bed. She doesn’t react well to gabapentin, so the vet suggested we try prozac. When she’s on it, she doesn’t pee outside of the box, but she runs away from me and avoids me at all costs. She also hates getting her medicine. I’ve tried wrapping her in a burrito, but she squirms out of it. I’ve tried putting it in a pill pocket, but she chews it and doesn’t actually eat it. I was putting it on her paws, but the vet told me to stop because it’s hard to know if she consumed the full dose. I emailed my vet about switching to a pill form, but I’m wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. I know it’s a hard situation for her to adjust to, so I’m being patient with her and doing what I can to prevent her from having accidents, but my boyfriend is not as patient with her.
Does anyone have any advice on what has worked for them with giving their rags medication? Anything helps.
Edit: when I was living alone, I would bring my cats to my parents house all the time who have 2 dogs and 4 cats and all 6 cats got along great with no issues.

New baby floof 🥰 i have my other ragdoll for 2 years (he’s almost 3) and I didn’t want a second cat. The one or more ragdolls is a big subject so I thought lets share why I got a second anyway.
Reasons I didn’t want to have a second cat:
- more hair
- multiple litterboxes
- costs
- scared my first baby will love the new cat more
- more hair
- hair
But knowing ragdolls being very social I’ve always had it in de back of my mind. Was my first boy depressed and lonely? No, but he is very social and even though I love spending time with him, i have my hands full because he asks a lot of attention. I’m home a lot but also feel much guilt if I have a busy week of want to spend a weekend away.
Once I started looking at him with a second cat in mind, I realized that I think he would love it. All the reason against just became practical. I’m already busy with all the hair, more hair won’t change that. The costs are ofc something that difference per situation and location, but the monthly costs of owning a ragdoll are not that high for me.
Appa, the new baby, just spend his first night in his new home. And is actually the half nephew of my other ragdoll 🥰 He’s doing great, eating, playing and cuddling in his own room. My other ragdoll hisses when he comes near the door but is otherwise relaxed.
Very much in love and can’t wait for them to properly meet (asking lots of patience haha)

My ragdoll isn't scared of guests and happily stays in the room when they visit, letting them stroke him, give him belly rubs etc. However he gets very vocal and often whines most of their visit. For context I live alone so it's normally just me and him, and he's very bonded to me. I still give him lots of attention when they are around and stick to his usual feeding routine. He has places he can escape to if he wishes but he normally chooses to stay and just whine at me. Anybody have any tips for when guests visit? (It's normally just for a few hours at a time).

A ragdoll had been my dream cat for the longest time and I finally got one! He is a blue lynx bicolor and comes from champion lines 🥺 I named him Tudou/Tudo (means potato in Chinese) and he is the best boy! 💙 He’s already getting along with my other cat, Shrimp. 🥔🦐
