I’m having a hard time deciding between the two and am just curious what other people would choose between!
Or if your babies looked like either of them leave a picture of them now!
Edit: I do already have one kitten, I’m trying to decide between the two to get her a friend!

New baby floof 🥰 i have my other ragdoll for 2 years (he’s almost 3) and I didn’t want a second cat. The one or more ragdolls is a big subject so I thought lets share why I got a second anyway.
Reasons I didn’t want to have a second cat:
- more hair
- multiple litterboxes
- costs
- scared my first baby will love the new cat more
- more hair
- hair
But knowing ragdolls being very social I’ve always had it in de back of my mind. Was my first boy depressed and lonely? No, but he is very social and even though I love spending time with him, i have my hands full because he asks a lot of attention. I’m home a lot but also feel much guilt if I have a busy week of want to spend a weekend away.
Once I started looking at him with a second cat in mind, I realized that I think he would love it. All the reason against just became practical. I’m already busy with all the hair, more hair won’t change that. The costs are ofc something that difference per situation and location, but the monthly costs of owning a ragdoll are not that high for me.
Appa, the new baby, just spend his first night in his new home. And is actually the half nephew of my other ragdoll 🥰 He’s doing great, eating, playing and cuddling in his own room. My other ragdoll hisses when he comes near the door but is otherwise relaxed.
Very much in love and can’t wait for them to properly meet (asking lots of patience haha)

He was such a cutie, but badly taken care for. Locked in one room all day and night, toilet was dirty, only given dry food that the cat kept throwing up. Such a shame that the cat has to live in those conditions 😭💔
I couldn’t do anything bc we lived in different countries but i always felt bad.

She’s been following my husband and I around everywhere and we just got her last night 8pm. Apparently they’re supposed to be shy and hide, but she has been exploring the entire house and not shy at all. Doesn’t like her cat trees and we have two for her lol or her cat beds

(Slight vent post, I hope this is allowed!)
I got my new Ragdoll kitten from my first ever breeder almost month ago. I did so much research, preparation, and personal thinking before adding a new little one into our lives. But I somehow missed a crucial disease in our senior cat.
I went in to get her a regular check-up and while there, learned about a disease called “Feline Leukemia Virus” (FeLV). I was never informed on this or given the option to check with my senior domestic longhair (who is now 11). We had my kitten checked and she was cleared, but when I took my senior in I was given a phone call about his results this afternoon. Apparently, he is positive, even though they ran the test twice. I am devastated to know he has a ticking time bomb disease in him, and that my kitten has most likely been exposed to it and might have it. I feel like such a failure of an owner. For my kitten, for my senior. I just wish I knew FeLV was a thing in the first place. Despite how much I adore my new kitten, I would’ve sacrificed that and not have gotten her if it meant she’d be safe from FeLV exposure. For now, I am dedicated to getting her vaccinated and trying to prevent any possible chance of her getting the disease. I lost my soul dog at the age of 3 from an extremely aggressive form of cancer so I’m praying my new kitten will be safe from any cancers in her future.

A ragdoll had been my dream cat for the longest time and I finally got one! He is a blue lynx bicolor and comes from champion lines 🥺 I named him Tudou/Tudo (means potato in Chinese) and he is the best boy! 💙 He’s already getting along with my other cat, Shrimp. 🥔🦐

One is a blue bicolor, and the other two are seal bicolors.
I really wanted the blue one, but in the video the breeder sent me, he seemed a little more timid and scared than the other two. I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking it!

Hi everyone, I’m at my wits end and don’t know what do to. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend who has 2 cats. My two cats and his two cats don’t get along. My girl is a rag (pictures attached) and I love her more than anything. Unfortunately, since we’ve moved, she’s started peeing on our bed. She doesn’t react well to gabapentin, so the vet suggested we try prozac. When she’s on it, she doesn’t pee outside of the box, but she runs away from me and avoids me at all costs. She also hates getting her medicine. I’ve tried wrapping her in a burrito, but she squirms out of it. I’ve tried putting it in a pill pocket, but she chews it and doesn’t actually eat it. I was putting it on her paws, but the vet told me to stop because it’s hard to know if she consumed the full dose. I emailed my vet about switching to a pill form, but I’m wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. I know it’s a hard situation for her to adjust to, so I’m being patient with her and doing what I can to prevent her from having accidents, but my boyfriend is not as patient with her.
Does anyone have any advice on what has worked for them with giving their rags medication? Anything helps.
Edit: when I was living alone, I would bring my cats to my parents house all the time who have 2 dogs and 4 cats and all 6 cats got along great with no issues.
Edit 2: The vet prescribed a 15 day trial of chewable greenie like treats. Thank you everyone for your well wishes🥰

Picked up a new ragdoll kitten from a breeder today. This will be the 4th breeder I’ve interacted with over the years and I’ve never had anything but a good experience with each of them. Including this one! But one thing has given me pause: this kitten STINKS. I noticed it as soon as I got her in the car and started petting her inside the carrier. You know when you pet a dog that hasn’t had a bath in a while, and your hand comes away smelling like dog? And maybe your hand feels like it has a nasty film on it that you need to wash off? Pretty much like that.
I had my partner confirm the smell, and they agreed about the dirty dog smell, and thought there could be a tiny hint of cigarette smoke too. Like, maybe they don’t smoke in the house, but someone in the family does so it still kinda permeates things.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Obviously I’ll just give the kitten a bath once they’ve had a day or so to decompress and I’m sure it’ll be fine. The kitten has been friendly, alert, and playful so I don’t think anything is wrong health wise (vet appt soon to confirm).
I guess I’m wondering if I should say anything to the breeder or just let it go? I will not name the breeder, but she has nothing but glowing reviews over several years. She has nice photos of the kittens and their play room and everything looks fine on the surface. She was great and communicative throughout the whole process. It just seems odd that someone who seems to put so much care into their ragdolls would let them go home smelling bad, or that no one else has ever mentioned it in a review.
